✨ FROM LEARNING TO EARNING! ✨

Following the success of our first livelihood initiative, the Rag Weaving Livelihood Program, we are proud to continue our commitment to empowering the women of Barangay Gun-ob through our second livelihood program — Delicacy Making! 👩‍🍳

This program is designed to turn skills into opportunities and opportunities into sustainable income. 🌱
Our trainees were carefully selected from participants of the Entrepreneurship Seminar, representing various sectors, organizations, and community groups of Barangay Gun-ob. Through this initiative, we aim to bring practical livelihood opportunities closer to our women and provide them with skills that can potentially become a source of income.

From Rag Weaving to Delicacy Making, we continue to create pathways where our women can learn, create, earn, and become more empowered. ✨

🌈 BRGY. GUN-OB PRIDE MONTH 2026 CELEBRATION 🌈

Sa pagtapos sa atong Pride Month 2026, puno sa pasalamat ang among kasingkasing sa tanang mipartisipar ug misuporta sa matag kalihokan—gikan sa Lapu-Lapu City Pride Walk Opening sa Pride Month, HIV Awareness ug SOGIESC Seminar, Pride Movie Marathon, hangtod sa atong Gala Night ug Drag Queen Contest.

Matag tuig, naningkamot gyud mi nga mas mahimong espesyal ug mahinungdanon ang atong selebrasyon sa Pride Month. Inubanan sa Barangay Gun-ob Council headed by Capt. Carl Steven Weigel, nagpadayon kami sa paghatag og bug-os nga supporta aron sa pagpasiugda og mas inklusibong kumonidad.

Dako kaayong pasalamat sa tanang LGBTQIA+ Officers headed by President Karl Pedoche, atong volunteers nga mao atong Barangay Employees, NProductions, Shot-GPT, Maam Rim Bontilao isip atong Emcee, J's Cre8tive ug sa tanang nagtrabaho sa luyo sa kalampusan niini nga selebrasyon. Kining kalampusan dili namo maabot kung wala ang inyong dedikasyon ug suporta. Daghan kaayong salamat kaninyong tanan!

Padayon ta sa paghimo og komunidad diin ang matag usa mahimong tinuod sa ilang kaugalingon ug dawaton uban sa gugma ug respeto. Happy Pride, Barangay Gun-ob! 🌈

From being a child who grew up in this chapel to now serving our community as a Barangay Councilor, I am grateful for the opportunity to give back through this simple school supplies turn-over for our Flores de Mayo children participants, which I have been blessed to do for three consecutive years.

This chapel played a big part in shaping who I am today, and I hope to continue this tradition of giving and serving for many years to come.❤️📚
