As part of our preparations for the upcoming ASEAN Summit, the Lapu-Lapu City Health Office headed by our City Health Officer, Dr. Nelner Omus, together with the representatives of the Department of Health Region VII, led by Dr. Jen Arellano-Cortes, have doubled our monitoring activities on the sanitation of our Hotels, Resorts and Restaurants to ensure that each one is deligently complying to meet the national sanitary standards as the City’s commitment under the leadership of Mayor Cindi King Chan and aligned with the vision of Cong . Junard "Ahong" Chan to health and excellence as we welcome the ASEAN delegates to our city.

We are happy to inform the public that each establishment that we have inspected are beyond compliant! This ensures world-class experience - clean, safe, and guest-ready.

Each establishment partners were presented with a Plaque of Appreciation to thank them for upholding public health as health and hospitality goes hand-in-hand.

Following Proclamation No. 1238, Lapu-Lapu City Health Office will be CLOSED on the following dates: May 6,7 and 8, 2026.

Our Animal Bite Treatment Center will be OPEN on the following dates: May 7 and 9, 2026.

Regular operations will resume on Monday, May 11, 2026.
