BABAG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL Babag National High School is located in Babag I, Lapu-Lapu City along the National Circumferential road on the way to Cordova Cebu.
It is 3 kilometers away from the heart of the city. It is founded in the year 1971 formerly known as Babag Barangay High School under the leadership of an elementary school principal. At first it is only situated at the back of Babag I Elementary School. In
the year 1988 it acquired 2, 317 sq. m. school site and in the year 2004 an additional acquisition of adjacent site of 2, 085 sq. with a total
of 4,402 sq. meters. It has a population of 3, 763 with 14 sections in the First Year, 13 Second Year, 10 Third Year and 11 Fourth Year, totaling to 48 sections. The school is headed by a Principal IV Mrs. Jeaneth D. Berame, assisted by a Head Teacher III Mrs Purificacion N. Peñalosa. It has 7 Head Teacher-III namely: Mr. Jaime B. Verdun-MAPEH, Mr. Benjamin M. Briones-SCIENCE, Mrs. Dinda T. Almeda-ENGLISH, Mrs. Martina E. Limpangug-MATH, Mrs. Arlena T. Umadhay-FILIPINO, Mrs. Ruth R. Barrios-Soc. Stud., Mrs. Susana N. Mediana-TLE, 8 Master Teacher-I, Mrs.Restituta D. Pancho, Mr. Antonio B. Bering, Mrs. Virginia B. Baguio, Mrs. Emilia A. Ngujo, Mr. Juanito N. Napil, Mrs. Cecilia P. Igot, Mrs. Evelyn D. Saguin, Mrs. Magdalena A. Bering, 15 Teacher III, 2 Teacher II, 47 Teacher I, 1 School Guidance Counselor, 1 Disbursing Officer and 1 Senior Bookkeeper Clerk II. It has also 1 Utility worker, 2 school security guards funded by PTCA, 15 volunteer Parent Brigade, 30 Eco-Tourism Police and 25 Student Junior Police Brigade. There are 97 teachers in the plantilla 16 teachers of which are serving annexes school and two (4) teachers are locally funded. It has two (2) extension schools, Poblacion Night High School and Babag Night High School. The latter has 502 students with 6 regular teachers while Poblacion Night HS has 400 students (more or less) with 5 regular teachers. Both night high school is occupying the Lapu-Lapu City Central Elementary School and Babag Nat’l High School respectively. MISSION STATEMENT

This program is an initiative of the department for Grade 7 at 8 who voluntarily wants to improve their performance in ENGLISH, MATHEMATICS, and SCIENCE. You can join the Enhancement Camp, Consolidation Camp, or Intervention Camp, depending on your needs. The programs starts on July 24.
