Screaming can also be a form of protest when they are unhappy or a sign of intense emotions like frustration, fear, or anxiety, and it is a way of communicating distress rather than a sign of manipulation or "bad behavior". How to help 📌Understand that screaming is a form of communication for many autistic children, not a sign of manipulation or bad behavior. 📌Identify the triggers by observing the child's environment and routines to reduce sensory overload. 📌Create a more supportive and structured environment to help reduce the need for screaming. 📌If the screaming is occurring at night, it could be a night terror.
