PEZA-MEZ embraces the future with AI!

Officers and staff of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority - Mactan Economic Zone (PEZAโ€“MEZ) successfully kicked off their participation in the PEZA AI Academy Training, with sessions held at the Advanced Institute of Technology in Mandaue City.

This initiative is part of PEZAโ€™s continued efforts to strengthen digital competencies and equip its workforce with essential knowledge on Artificial Intelligence (AI)-supporting innovation, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing service delivery to PEZA-registered enterprises.

The training, conducted in partnership with TESDA under a Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2025, reflects PEZAโ€™s commitment to building a future-ready and tech-driven workforce.

Led by Zone Administrator Arnel M. Suyu, PEZA-MEZ participants actively engaged in learning key AI concepts and practical applications relevant to todayโ€™s evolving industries.

To date, two batches have already been successfully conducted, marking a strong start in this capacity-building initiative.

As PEZA continues to invest in innovation and digital transformation, it reinforces the Philippinesโ€™ position as a hub for technology-driven industries.

01/04/2026

Please be advised of the regular holidays and work suspension in observance of Holy Week 2026.

A skeleton workforce will be maintained in MEZ and Cluster 2 to ensure continuous operations.

Wishing everyone a meaningful and reflective Holy Week. ๐Ÿ™
