Resharing this since Pasko napod ugma 😅

Yes, even my Spanish students are shocked. I told them, “Please don’t be surprised when you hear Christmas songs as early as September if you go to my country. It’s normal.” In the very first day o…

Today, I went somewhere near home. I've realized it's not about how far you've journeyed but the fact that you show up everyday. Just like tomorrow. Just like today.

I've decided to try a new hobby: to walk every MWF somewhere special then produce a poem afterwards. This is how I do breakfast. Kaya ba? Wish me luuuuuck!

A glimpse of my second experience of the DumaLitFest summarized in a reel. Kudos to the organizing team for the smooth and fruitful line up of activities. The accommodation is superb, the foods lami kaayo as always, the people warm, and literature on fire. It's such an honor to be surrounded by literary giants in the Philippines: Merlie Alunan, Ian Casocot, Susan Lara, Rica Bolipata-Santos, Serafin Plotria Jr., Rody Vera, Glen Sevilla Mas, Yvette Tan, Genevieve Asenjo, etc... Kung pwede palang magpakuskos 🙈

Hopefully, I could catch the next season. Baling dakoa sa kalibutan, wa damha sa silingan diay ko madagit. Wa kasagang akong lumay. ❤️‍🔥

It took almost a month for me to share these photos taken by CJ photographers Elisha Kieth Sing and Harliz Gica. This is my third big event in SSC coined, "SiqNouveau."
What is "nouveau"? It is a French word that translates directly to English as "new." You, my students, are nouveau. I hope when you look back and see these photos, you gleam with pride celebrating your talent and your home. And when that happens, I hope you still have stains of paint on your shirt, a camera or microphone on your hand, and sweat dripping from dancing. Tomorrow is bright because of creative individuals like you. Padayon! I am excited to see what you contribute ugma damlag.
