LOOK | LGU CARAVAN – BARANGAY SAN FRANCISCO

As part of the LGU Caravan in Barangay San Francisco on October 12, 2026, under the leadership of Hon. John Philbert S. Tan, Municipal Mayor, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) actively prepared in the repacking of food packs as part of the initiative to extend essential assistance to our fellow Navasnons.

📦 CONTENTS OF EACH FOOD PACK

• 🍚 10 kilograms of rice
• 🥫 2 cans of Argentina Corned Beef
• ☕ 1 pack of Nescafé (40g)
• 🥛 1 pack of Birch Tree milk (300g)
• 🍘 1 pack of SkyFlakes crackers

This activity highlights the MSWDO’s continued commitment to promoting the welfare of individuals and families in the community. Through teamwork, compassion, and dedication to public service, we help bring government assistance closer to the people and provide meaningful support to those who need it most.

LOOK || DSWD UPLIFT PAY-OUT | OCTOBER 9, 2026

A successful DSWD Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport (UPLIFT) Pay-out was held today at Las Navas Sports Complex, where a total of 980 beneficiaries received ₱2,000.00 cash assistance each.

The activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the DSWD Regional Office VIII, headed by Ms. Decca Pagatpat, and her dedicated team, together with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Las Navas, headed by Ms. Roname Lian U. Unay, RSW – MSWD Officer, and her hardworking personnel.

Thank you, Mayor John Philbert S. Tan, Vice Mayor Minda M. Tan, and all Sangguniang Bayan Members for your 100% support and unwavering commitment to social welfare programs and services for our constituents.

LOOK | ELDERLY FILIPINO WEEK 2026 👵👴

On October 7, 2026, the Municipality of Las Navas celebrated Elderly Filipino Week 2026 at the Las Navas Sports Complex, bringing together our beloved senior citizens in a meaningful celebration of their invaluable contributions, rights, and continuing role in the community.

With the theme: "Nakatatandang Pilipino: May Halaga at Karapatan, May Boses at Ambag sa Bayan"

Mrs. Janeth S. Meserio, Project Development Officer of the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC), delivered an inspiring message as the guest speaker, emphasizing the importance of valuing, respecting, and empowering older persons as active and valuable members of society.

Hon. John Philbert S. Tan, Municipal Mayor, reaffirmed the Local Government Unit’s commitment to continuously support programs, services, and activities that promote the welfare, protection, and well-being of senior citizens in Las Navas.

Mrs. Shella Z. Arnesto, PDO and DSWD Social Pension Program Focal Person, also shared important information on the Guidelines in the Implementation of the Social Pension Program, helping our senior citizens better understand the program and its services.

The celebration was also graced by Ms. Roname Lian U. Unay, RSW – MSWD Officer; Mrs. Jenette U. Baldoza – Senior Citizen Focal Person; MSWDO personnel; Mrs. Victoria R. Pajuelas – OSCA Head; and Mrs. Lina Aurel – Federation President.

This celebration reminds us that our senior citizens are not only recipients of care and services—they are bearers of wisdom, keepers of stories, and valued contributors to our families and communities.

📢 TINGNAN || DSWD UPLIFT PAYOUT – 2ND TRANCHE

Ang pamunuan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Regional Office VIII, katuwang ang Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) – Las Navas, ay magsasagawa ng DSWD UPLIFT Payout 2nd Tranche sa Oktubre 9, 2026 (Biyernes) sa Las Navas Sports Complex.

May kabuuang 980 benepisyaryo na tatanggap ng ₱2,000.00 cash assistance, bilang karagdagang tulong para sa pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan ng mga pamilyang benepisyaryo, lalo na sa gitna ng patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin.

Ang mga benepisyaryo para sa 2nd Tranche ay mula sa listahan batay sa Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) at sila rin ang mga nakatanggap ng assistance noong nakaraang payout.

📌 Mahalagang Paalala:
Sa mga benepisyaryo, mangyaring makipag-ugnayan sa inyong Barangay Officials upang malaman at makumpirma ang inyong pangalan sa ipinamahaging listahan mula sa CBMS at upang maasikaso nang maaga ang mga kinakailangang dokumento.

Para naman sa mga Barangay Officials, hinihiling na maipasa sa MSWDO ang mga kinakailangang dokumento sa Oktubre 5–6, 2026 upang maisagawa ang paunang pagsusuri at beripikasyon ng mga papeles bago ang payout.

📄 Siguraduhing kumpleto at wasto ang inyong mga dokumento upang maging maayos at mabilis ang proseso sa araw ng payout.

TINGNAN || Pamamahagi ng DSWD Social Pension Program para sa 3rd Quarter CY 2026

Matagumpay na naisakatuparan ang pamamahagi ng Social Pension Program ng DSWD para sa 3rd Quarter ng Taong 2026, kung saan natanggap ng ating mga minamahal na senior citizens ang halagang ₱3,000.00 bilang tulong-pinansyal.

Ang nasabing ayuda ay malaking suporta upang makatulong sa kanilang mga pangangailangang medikal at pang-araw-araw na gastusin, lalo na sa gitna ng patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin dulot ng inflation.

Taos-puso po kaming nagpapasalamat kina Mayor John Philbert S. Tan, Vice Mayor Minda M. Tan, at sa mga miyembro ng Sangguniang Bayan para sa kanilang walang sawang suporta at malasakit sa kapakanan ng ating mga nakatatanda.

Isang taos-pusong pagpupugay rin sa mga kawani ng MSWD Office sa pangunguna ni MSWD Officer Ms. Roname Lian U. Unay, RSW; Senior Citizens Focal Person Mrs. Jenette U. Baldoza; MSWD Office personnel, Mrs. Victoria R. Pajuelas – OSCA Head; gayundin sa mga dedikadong kawani ng Municipal Treasurer’s Office sa pamumuno ni Mr. John Jesus Emmanuel Gorembalem at ng kanilang mga kasamahan, para sa maayos, mabilis, at organisadong pamamahagi ng social pension payout.

Patuloy po nating pahalagahan at suportahan ang ating mga senior citizens bilang pagkilala sa kanilang mahalagang ambag sa ating komunidad.

Ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Regional Office VIII, katuwang ang Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), at Municipal Treasurer’s Office ng LGU Las Navas, ay ipinaaalam na ang DSWD Social Pension Program 3rd Quarter Pay-Out (July–September 2026) ay NA-RESCHEDULE.

📅 BAGONG SCHEDULE:
🗓️ September 30, October 1 & 2, 2026
📍 Colegio de Las Navas Quadrangle

💰 HALAGA NG PENSION

Para sa July, August, at September 2026, ang bawat kwalipikadong pensioner ay makakatanggap ng:

₱1,000.00 kada buwan
➡️ Kabuuang ₱3,000.00 para sa 3rd Quarter CY 2026

PAALALA PARA SA MGA PENSIONER:

Kung ang pensioner ay pumanaw noong June 2026 o mas maaga, hindi na siya maaaring makatanggap ng pension, alinsunod sa mga patakaran ng DSWD Regional Office VIII.

Samantala, kung ang pensioner ay pumanaw mula July hanggang September 2026, maaari pa ring ma-claim ang ₱3,000.00 na pension para sa 3rd Quarter, alinsunod sa umiiral na guidelines.

ℹ️ BAKIT NA-RESCHEDULE?

Ang pay-out ay na-reschedule dahil ang Municipal Treasurer’s Office ay kukuha pa ng kinakailangang pondo sa bangko sa susunod na linggo, dahil hindi ito nakuhang ma-withdraw ngayong araw.

Humihingi po kami ng inyong pang-unawa at pakikipagtulungan sa pagbabago ng iskedyul.
