FEATURE: Dannes Macombo found growth and opportunity through the DOLE Government Internship Program (GIP), where she gained valuable experience, strengthened her communication skills, and developed greater confidence in public service.
Although financial challenges led her to leave the program, the knowledge and skills she gained through GIP helped her secure employment in the banking industry and continue pursuing her professional goals.

๐ซ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ท ๐ญ๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐, provided an overview of the program. She explained that the DILP is a grant assistance initiative designed to provide disadvantaged workers with opportunities to establish sustainable sources of income.
She discussed the programโs key components, eligibility requirements, prohibited projects, documentary requirements, and the classification of livelihood projects. Ms. Molea also underscored the importance of social preparation in equipping beneficiaries with the knowledge, skills, and readiness necessary to effectively implement and sustain their livelihood projects.
During the latter part of the program, Ms. Molea and the MTPLFO Livelihood Development Specialists conducted the profiling of FPC employees as part of the assessment and preparation process for livelihood assistance.

The Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) is a flagship program of the Department of Labor and Employment designed to provide temporary job opportunities to qualified students aged 15 to 30 who experience financial difficulties in supporting their education and daily needs.
Through the program, students are able to earn income, gain valuable work experience, and continue their studies at the same time.

The association was granted an allocation worth โฑ300,000.00, making ๐๐๐๐๐ the third (3rd) tricycle association in Paraรฑaque City to successfully qualify for and receive this substantial livelihood assistance this year.
