As public servants, bahagi ng trabaho namin ang tumanggap ng criticism, and we openly admit that we are not perfect. We learn, and we strive to do better. Pero ibang usapan na when criticism turns into hate, discrimination, at homophobic remarks. Hindi na ‘yan constructive — that’s harmful.

Ngayong Women’s Month, let’s remember: inclusivity doesn’t stop at “biological women.” It extends to ALL including our LGBTQIA+ community who also fight, serve, and lead hindi lang sa SK, kundi sa lahat ng posisyon sa lipunan.

Ang pagiging bakla, lesbiyana, o bahagi ng LGBTQIA+ ay hindi hadlang sa pagiging tunay na lingkod bayan.

Let’s use our platforms to uplift. In this big 2026, We deserve a safe space online. hindi lugar ng diskriminasyon, kundi espasyo ng respeto. Mas kailangan natin ng pagkakaisa at positibong boses — lalo na sa mundong puno na ng ingay at galit.

The 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐨 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐏𝐏𝐘𝐎), established in 2018, is a registered youth organization under the Sangguniang Kabataan of Talon Tres and remains active in supporting barangay programs and activities.

PPYO aims to develop youth leadership and encourage volunteerism in the community. We proudly present our newly elected officers, ready to serve and lead the youth of Barangay Talon Tres. 💜✨

𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝘐𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘏𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘢 𝘢𝘵 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘭𝘢 🤚🏻💜

Noong hapon ng Agosto 16, 2025, isinagawa ang Mass Induction of Officers sa Mayor Vergel “Nene” Aguilar Multi-Purpose Hall – DRRMO Building, BFRV Resort, Talon Dos, Las Piñas City. Sa pagtitipong ito, tampok ang panunumpa ng mga bagong opisyal ng kabataan at ang makasaysayang pagkilala sa isang organisasyon mula Las Piñas.

Pinangunahan ng panauhing pandangal na si Hon. Mayor April Aguilar Neri ang Induction at Oath-Taking Ceremony. Dito, buong pagmamalaking nanumpa ang mga kabataang lider ng lungsod upang gampanan ang kanilang tungkulin nang may malasakit, dedikasyon, at tapang.

Pinaka-inaabangan sa seremonya ang pormal na pagkilala sa Paramount and Pelayo Youth Organization (PPYO) bilang isang lehitimong youth organization sa lokal na antas. Sa pagkakataong ito, opisyal nang tinanggap ang PPYO bilang katuwang sa pagpapaigting ng mga programa at adbokasiya para sa kapwa kabataan sa kanilang komunidad. Isang makabuluhang yugto ito, hindi lamang para sa kanilang organisasyon, kundi para sa lahat ng kabataang Las Piñero.

Nagbigay rin ng inspirasyon ang mga talumpati at pagtatanghal, kabilang na ang mensahe ni Hon. Rey Angelo D. Reyes at ang Inspirational Message ni Ms. Lowefe T. Romulo, RSW. Pinatingkad pa ng mga cultural at martial arts intermissions ang diwa ng pagkakaisa at galing ng kabataan.

Natapos ang programa sa isang masayang Community Fellowship at Dinner, kasunod ang Photo Opportunity at Closing Remarks. Ngunit higit sa lahat, baon ng lahat ng dumalo ang alaala ng panunumpa at pagkilalang nagbigay bagong sigla at pag-asa para sa kabataang Las Piñero.

Sa hapon ng Agosto 16, isang pangako ang pinagtibay: ang kabataan ng Las Piñas—sa pangunguna ng PPYO at iba pang organisasyon—ay handang tumindig, maglingkod, at magsilbing tinig ng pagbabago.
