The members of the Las Piñas City Gender and Development Focal Point System, led by Engr. Leonida A. Lagrisola, City Planning and Development Officer as its secretariat with representatives from various departments as members of the Technical Working Group for the 2nd Quarter GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) Meeting happened on June 04, 2026, at Conference Room, 6F Multipurpose Parking Building, City Hall Compound, Las Piñas City.
The meeting focused on the recap of 1st Quarter accomplishments, updates on the GAD Plan and Budget CY 2027, monitoring of GAD implementation, COA recommendations, and other key Gender and Development initiatives. Together, we continue to strengthen gender-responsive governance and inclusive development in Las Piñas City.

Select Women Graduates of Las Piñas City Manpower Training Center Receive Livelihood Start-Up Kits
Empowering Lives Through Skills and Opportunity
The Las Piñas City Manpower Training Center (LPCMTC) is proud to support deserving women graduates through a meaningful Gender and Development (GAD) initiative, the distribution of Livelihood Start-Up Kits designed to turn training into tangible opportunity.
Through this program, selected women graduates receive starter toolkits across four key fields: Hairdressing, Cookery, Bread and Pastry Production, and Massage Therapy, equipping them with the tools they need to launch their own livelihoods and contribute to the economic growth of Las Piñas City.
Beyond the distribution of kits, the program commits to long-term impact through a dedicated monitoring and tracking system that follows the economic progress of each beneficiary, ensuring that support does not end at graduation but continues as women build sustainable futures for themselves and their families.
Together, we invest not just in skills, but in lives.
