Barangay Pawa Celebrates Palm Sunday
With hearts full of faith and devotion, the community of Barangay Pawa joyfully commemorated Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion—the solemn beginning of Holy Week. This sacred celebration reminds us of the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, where He was welcomed with palms and praises of “Hosanna,” while also inviting us to reflect on His suffering and sacrifice for our salvation.
The celebration began at the Covered Court, where the faithful gathered for the blessing of palms and the opening rites. United in prayer and reverence, the community then processed and continued the celebration with the Holy Mass at the chapel, where the Passion of the Lord was proclaimed.
More than a remembrance, this day calls each one of us to walk with Christ—not only in moments of triumph, but also in His journey toward the Cross. As we enter this Holy Week, may we deepen our faith, renew our commitment, and open our hearts to the saving love of God.
🙏 Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! 🌿
