The Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) holds โToward Shaping Unified Success: A Public Consultation on the Draft Guidelines for the Harmonization of StuFAPsโ in Quezon City on October 13, 2025.
The activity brings together technical working group (TWG) members, partner agencies, and stakeholders to review and refine the draft guidelines to ensure greater efficiency, coordination, and equity in the implementation of government-funded scholarships, grants-in-aid, student loans, and other modalities of StuFAPs.
Through the harmonization initiative, UniFAST strengthens its commitment to making tertiary education accessible, transparent, and inclusive for all Filipino learners. ๐ต๐ญ๐

The DEXUS Augmented System Helper (DASH) is an advanced chatbot integrated into the CHED Regional Office V's DEXUS platform.
This innovative tool is specifically designed to help students, grantees, and partner institutions navigate the system effortlessly, offering immediate, precise, and accessible support and ensuring users can find the information they need quickly and without confusion.

Project MARITES, or โMobilizing Available Resources through Inclusive Training on Entrepreneurship of Student-Grantees,โ aims to empower student-grantees by providing them with crucial entrepreneurial skills. The training covers Marketing, Financial Management, and Production Management.
This initiative was born from Republic Act 10931 and was conceptualized by Demetrio P. Anduyan, the visionary CHED RO V regional director.
CHED RO V believes that by equipping students with these entrepreneurial tools, the initiative not only aids them in financing their education but also encourages meaningful economic contributions that uplift their communities.
This program, specifically crafted for student-grantees, was officially launched during TES Congress 2025 at Catanduanes State University in Virac, Catanduanes.

The USAP UniFAST final leg in Catanduanes successfully concluded on September 10, 2025, at the Catanduanes State University, drawing active participation from numerous higher education institutions (HEIs) in the region.
The orientation highlighted key discussions on validation and billing processes to ensure accurate and efficient program implementation.
CHED UniFAST V commended HEIs that demonstrated prompt and exemplary compliance in submitting required documentary requirements, reflecting their strong commitment to accountability and the effective delivery of the program.
Before the session ended, participants engaged in an insightful open forum with former UniFAST Executive Director Atty. Ryan Estevez, who addressed operational concerns and clarified institutional responsibilities.
Under the leadership of Regional Director Demetrio P. Anduyan Jr., CHED UniFAST extends its sincere gratitude to Catanduanes State University for graciously hosting the TES Congress 2025. We also thank all participating institutions for their active involvement and unwavering dedication to advancing accessible, transparent, and student-centered higher education services.

๐๐ง๐ : The stage lit up as the Battle of the Bands competition officially commenced today, September 10 at Catanduanes State University (Catsu) Gymnasium as part of the ongoing TES Congress 2025.
Five (5) band groups are competing from various higher education institutions in Bicol namely, Jukebox Ecstasy and Impulse Musika from Catsu, Lombrosos Band from Christian Polytechnic Institute of Catanduanes (CPIC), 6 paragraphs from Daraga Community College (DCOMC), and SJCC Band from San Jose Community College.

๐๐ข๐ข๐: As part of the launching of Project SAGIP or Scholars and Grants Beneficiariesโ Action in Greening Initiative Program, a tree planting activity was conducted at Catanduanes State University (Catsu)
The activity was led by the Oversight UniFAST Supervisor, Ma. Pamela Sorra-Viรฑas, Catsu President Gemma Acedo, Vice President for Academic Affairs Kristian Aldea, Catsu Staff, and UniFAST secretariat.
