NQU is calling for applicants to its 5𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 — a fully supported academic experience running from September 2026 to January 2027. 🎓

Bicol University formally conducted a hybrid Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony with the Sydney Metropolitan Institute of Technology (SMIT), Australia, on May 21, 2026, held at the International Relations Office and via MS Teams.
Representing Bicol University were University President Dr. Baby Boy Benjamin D. Nebres III, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ma. Julieta B. Borres, IRO Director Prof. Evangeline D. Honrado, Tabaco Campus Dean Prof. Ronnel S. Dioneda Sr., Associate Dean Prof. Shiela B. Bustamante, Social Work Department Chair Prof. Maricel V. Abrigo, and Internationalization and Linkages Coordinator for Nursing Prof. Albert B. Balace.

Bicol University and Universitas Potensi Utama (UPU), Indonesia held a productive online meeting today to discuss preparations for the upcoming International Collaborative Webinar on Cultural Representation Perspectives in Global Film, scheduled on June 2, 2026. The webinar will be co-organized by Bicol University in partnership with UPU together with other institutions from Turkey and Malaysia.

Representing Bicol University were IRO Director Prof. Evangeline D. Honrado, Prof. Maria Teodora A. Loñosa (Coordinator for International Communications and Marketing), Dr. Adrian B. Aguilar, Dean of the College of Arts and Letters, and Prof. Ramon Gian Bron, faculty member.
