CT Gov Noel E. Rosal Page

Governor Noel Rosal met with the members of the Albay Joint Provincial Peace and Order and Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (PPOC-PADAC) to get updated on the current landscape of peace and order situation in the province.

The Governor presided over the meeting and called on all the stakeholders to work hand in hand to proactively maintain peace and prevent disorder in Albay.

Rosal said that he sees Albay as a safe haven, not just for the residents, but for tourists and investors who will come and help boost the local economy.

Provincial Anti Drug Abuse Secretariat reporting its accomplishments and programs still for implementation for CY 2022.
The activity was attended personally by Gov Noel E. Rosal, Atty Peter Leo M.Ralla, Executive adviser Mr. Olivio Ramirez, BM Vince F. Baltazar Committee chairperson for Peace and Order, Acting PD Richard Aquitania, PDEA PD Noe Briguel, DOH representative Mam W. Baluis and Miss Tin Nolinal, Dr. Randie Asuncion of Albay Drug Rehab Center.

Priority programs were discussed including the re opening of Albay Rehab and treatment facility, the establishment of SDEC and the attainment of high ADAC performance.

Harmonization of Data for the ADAC CBDRP accreditation with
Department of Health region 5, Albay PNP, PDEA Albay and the 15 muncipalities and 3 cities of the Region.
This activity addresses the implementation of the new DOH Memo on CBDRP accreditation within the Province of Albay.

The Provincial Peace and Order Council of Albay through its PPOC TWG conducted a 3 day in house writeshop to prepare for the POPS Plan CY 2023 TO 2025. This is to ensure projects and programs pertaining to peace and order within the province is attained and maintained particulary during the transition period.

The said activity is spearheaded by the PPOC Council and in partnership with DILG Province , Albay PNP, PDEA Albay, 903rd Infantry, 49th IB, 31st IB, BFP Albay , PSWDO, PPDO, PENRO, PHO, PENRO,APSEMO and the PLO.

Congratulations Municipality of Jovellar for being awarded as the 1st municipality to be drug cleared in the province of Albay.
