The 9th Civil-Military Operations “Kaagapay” Battalion participated in the Multi-Sectoral Dialogue on Freedom of Association conducted by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Bicol Region, at Imelda Hall, The Isabelle Hotel, Peñafrancia Avenue, Brgy. San Francisco, Naga City on May 29, 2026

Lt. Col. Sharon E Constantino Acting Commanding Officer of the 9th Civil-Military Operations Battalion (9CMOBn), together with Capt. Maria Angelica R Ebuen Company Commander of the 1CMOC, participated in the activity alongside from the 901st Brigade, Philippine National Police, officials of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Bicol Region, and other key stakeholders.

The dialogue served as a venue for discussing freedom of association, labor rights, and inter-sectoral collaboration. Through its participation, the 9th CMO Battalion reaffirmed its support for initiatives that strengthen stakeholder engagement, promote social harmony, and contribute to sustainable peace and development in the region.

The 9th Civil-Military Operations (Kaagapay) Battalion, sponsored a Holy Mass at the Sto. Niño Chapel, Camp Brig. Gen. Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City on May 27, 2026.

The Eucharistic celebration was jointly sponsored by the 5th Regional Community Defense Group (5RCDG), Military Intelligence Group (MIG), Military Intelligence Company (MICO), and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 5 (RMFB-5) as part of their continuing commitment to strengthening spiritual values and promoting unity among uniformed personnel.

Your Kaagapay Battalion under the leadership of Lt. Col. Sharon Constantino, Commanding Officer together with our partner units, will continue to draw strength from our faith as we serve God, our country, and our people.

3CMOC Conducts Food Assistance and Information Awareness Drive in Masbate

MILAGROS, Masbate – The 3rd Civil-Military Operations (Negotiator) Company of the 9th Civil-Military Operations Battalion conducted a Food Assistance and Information Awareness Drive in Brgy. Miabas, Palanas, Masbate on May 25, 2026.

Led by 2nd Lt. Maria Carmela Pedregosa, Platoon Leader of 3rd CMO Company, the activity was carried out in coordination with the 2nd Infantry Battalion and the Provincial Social Welfare and Development (PSWD) Masbate.

Approximately 150 residents received food packs intended to support their immediate daily needs and promote community welfare.

The activity also served as a platform to discuss the benefits of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) and to provide information on the proper recruitment process of the Philippine Army to help prevent misinformation and illegal recruitment activities.

The initiative forms part of the units continuing efforts to strengthen collaboration with local communities and support the government’s peace and development programs in Masbate.
