Semeniano, RPm, LPT, RGC, serving as the resource speaker.

IN PHOTOS: The Office of Guidance and Testing held the seminar “STOP THE SPIRAL: Understanding the Basics of Anxiety and Everyday Worry” on September 19, 2025, at the UST-Legazpi Dome for Junior High School and Senior High School students. With Mr. Kurt Essa A. Rastrullo, RGC as the resource speaker, the session guided students in distinguishing anxiety from everyday worry, recognizing its symptoms and triggers, and learning practical coping strategies. More importantly, it encouraged self-awareness and fostered a culture of help-seeking behavior among Legazpi Thomasians.
Through this initiative, UST-Legazpi continues its commitment to nurturing the holistic well-being of its students.

On September 19, 2025, the Junior High School and Senior High School departments came together at the UST-L Dome for a meaningful talk on mental health awareness, featuring keynote speaker Mr. Kurt Essa Rastrullo.
With the theme “Stop the Spiral: Understanding the Basics of Anxiety and the Worry of Everyday Life,” the session explored the distinction between everyday worries and clinical anxiety; their impact on thoughts, emotions, and behaviors; and practical strategies for managing them. From coping tools to real talk on self-awareness and seeking help, the session empowered students to prioritize their mental well-being and reminded everyone: you don’t have to go through it alone.
Students were encouraged to cultivate self-awareness, embrace healthy habits, and seek help when needed.

HIGHLIGHTS: UST-Legazpi, through the Office of Guidance and Testing, successfully held the “School Adjustment Seminar: Strengthening Academic, Emotional, and Social Transitions” today, August 29, 2025, at the UST-Legazpi Dome. The program was organized for first-year tertiary and transferee students to help them navigate the challenges of college life with confidence and resilience.
The seminar provided practical strategies on time management, study skills, and self-regulation; promoted mental health education and coping mechanisms; and fostered peer engagement to cultivate a welcoming and supportive Thomasian community.
