𝗜𝗧’𝗦 𝗔 𝗪𝗥𝗔𝗣! The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office V through its Student Financial Assistance Programs (StuFAPS) Unit concluded the series of orientations for new beneficiaries of the CHED Merit Scholarship Program at Alvaro Rabina Hall-Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) Auditorium in San Jose, Pili, Camarines Sur last October 24, 2025.

This event benefited both students and parents from Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte, as well as its organizers because of the engaging and meaningful discussions during the orientation. Among the talking points were rules and procedure of the program, submission of documentary requirements, processing of financial benefits, and the DEXUS Portal.

PHOTO HIGHLIGHTS: The CHED Regional Office V through the Scholarship Assistance and Grants-In-Aid Inclusive Programs (SAGIP) Center emphasized the importance of timely submission of documentary requirements for up-to-date processing of claims during the virtual orientation today, October 20, 2025.

The said event was attended by Catanduanes, Masbate, and outside the Region scholars as part of the series of orientation being conducted by the unit for new beneficiaries of the CHED Merit Scholarship Program.

INFORMED AND EQUIPPED. The Scholarship Assistance and Grants-In-Aid Inclusive Programs (SAGIP) Center of CHED Bicol successfully hosted an orientation for the new beneficiaries of the CHED Merit Scholarship Program in Albay and Sorsogon held today at Kaogma Hall of Proxy by the Oriental in Legazpi City.

This orientation aims to equip scholars with information regarding the policies and guidelines of the program to help them better understand their financial benefits and corresponding responsibilities to perform, from the processing of documentary requirements until its release either through direct payment or through schools concerned. Scholars may also monitor the process of their claims through the ledger in their DEXUS portal.

HAPPENING NOW. The Scholarship Assistance and Grants-In-Aid Inclusive Programs (SAGIP) Center of CHED Bicol conducts virtual orientation on the implementing guidelines of Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and their Families (COSCHO) for the 47 new beneficiaries.

The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office V through the Scholarship Assistance and Grants-In-Aid Inclusive Programs (S.A.G.I.P) Center is pleased to announce the 47 new scholars of Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and their Families for Academic Year 2025-2026, from over 600 applicants across the Bicol Region.

The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office V through the Scholarship Assistance and Grants-In-Aid Inclusive Programs (S.A.G.I.P) Center is pleased to officially announce the 243 new scholars of CHED Merit Scholarship Program for Academic Year 2025-2026, from a highly competitive pool of over 9,000 applicants across the Bicol Region.

To complete the verification process, please remember the following dates:
AUGUST 6-8, 2025 - Preparation of all required documents (Original or Certified as True Copy)
AUGUST 11-29, 2025 - Submission of physical copies (Original or Certified as True Copy) of the documents uploaded during online application
AUGUST 11-29, 2025 – Confirmation or acceptance of the Notice of Award

Please submit all required documents to the CHEDRO in a long brown envelope clearly labeled with your FULL NAME, CMSP APPLICATION NUMBER and PROVINCE.
