As of June 18, 2026, the Municipal Treasurerโ€™s Office has commenced the distribution of Notices of Delinquency (NODs) to property owners with unpaid Real Property Taxes.

Taxpayers who receive an NOD are encouraged to visit the Municipal Treasurerโ€™s Office at the earliest opportunity to verify their records and settle their tax obligations.

Take advantage of the ongoing RPT Tax Amnesty Program and avail of the benefits before the deadline on July 5, 2026.

On June 11, 2026, the Municipal Treasury Office of Lemery participated in the annual treasury operations evaluation conducted by the Office of the Provincial Treasurer of Iloilo through its Tax Enforcement and Field Supervision Division. The activity forms part of the Province's continuing efforts to ensure compliance with established government accounting, treasury, and fiscal management standards.

The evaluation focused on the office's performance in critical areas such as Local Revenue Generation, Fund Management and Accountability, Financial Reporting, and Treasury Organization Management. It also reviewed the various programs and initiatives undertaken by the Municipality of Lemery to encourage taxpayers to avail themselves of the Real Property Tax Amnesty under Republic Act No. 12001, otherwise known as the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA).

Through continuous monitoring and evaluation, the Municipal Treasury Office remains committed to transparency, efficiency, and responsible stewardship of public funds for the benefit of the people of Lemery.
