BATANGAS PPO ENSURES PEACEFUL AND ORDERLY OBSERVANCE OF UNDAS 2026
The Batangas Police Provincial Office, under the leadership of PCOL OLIVER B EBORA, Provincial Director, successfully implemented LIGTAS UNDAS 2026, ensuring the safety and security of the public during the observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day in the province.
A total of 2,901 personnel, composed of 1,852 PNP personnel, 270 augmented unit personnel, and 779 force multipliers, were deployed across the province. The operation established 124 Police Assistance Desks (PADs) and security and traffic assistance posts in 148 cemeteries and columbaria, along with 19 Motorist Assistance Centers.
Despite recording a total of 559,074 cemetery visitors from October 29 to November 2, 2026, no Undas-related untoward incidents were reported.
The use of aerial drones, Body-Worn Cameras, and real-time monitoring through the Provincial Command Center further strengthened crowd management, police visibility, and operational coordination.
PCOL EBORA commended all deployed personnel, partner agencies, local government units, and force multipliers for their dedication and cooperation.
The successful implementation of LIGTAS UNDAS 2026 highlighted the effectiveness of the BPPO's security measures, strategic deployment, and strong inter-agency cooperation, ensuring the peaceful observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day despite the large influx of visitors across the province.
