BARANGAY VISITATION AND DIALOGUE ON PEACE AND ORDER

On October 5, 2026, personnel of Leon Municipal Police Station, led by PLT COSMEFLOR C MACO JR, Officer-in-Charge (OIC), conducted a Barangay Visitation and Dialogue at Barangay Isian Norte, Leon, Iloilo.

The activity focused on strengthening coordination and community partnership through discussions on Anti-Illegal Drugs, Anti-Terrorism, and other matters concerning peace and order and public safety in the municipality.

The dialogue provided an opportunity to promote awareness, address community concerns, and encourage the active participation of barangay officials and residents in preventing crime, maintaining peace and order, building a safer and more secure community.

The Leon MPS remains committed to working hand-in-hand with the community and other stakeholders in advancing peace, security, and public safety.

Information Distribution of Flyers

Personnel of Leon Municipal Police Station, led by PLT COSMEFLOR C MARCO JR, Officer-in-Charge, conducted a community engagement activity through the distribution of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials on Crime Prevention and Safety Tips within the Municipality of Leon, Iloilo as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen police-community relations and promote public safety.

The activity served as a platform for meaningful interaction between the police and community members through dialogue, information dissemination, and active participation of residents.

During the engagement, responding personnel shared important information on crime prevention, public safety awareness, and security measures aimed at protecting lives and property.

Learners were encouraged to remain vigilant, promptly report suspicious activities, and actively support programs and initiatives that contribute to the maintenance of peace and order in their respective communities.

📢 SCHOOL VISITATION and CRIME PREVENTION ACTIVITY

On October 5, 2026, personnel of Leon Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of PLT COSMEFLOR C MARCO JR, Officer-in-Charge, conducted a school visitation and crime prevention activity at Bayag National High School, Barangay Bayag Sur, Leon Iloilo.

The activity aimed to strengthen police presence within the school community, promote crime prevention awareness, and ensure the safety and security of students, teachers, and school personnel.
Personnel also disseminated crime prevention tips and encouraged students to be vigilant and actively participate in maintaining a peaceful and orderly learning environment.

Mobile Patrol and Police Visibility

At about 11:58 AM on October 5, 2026, personnel of the Leon Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PLT COSMEFLOR C MARCO, JR., Officer-In-Charge, conducted police visibility/mobile patrol operations at Brgy. Bayag Norte, Bayag Sur, Brgy. Jamog Gines, Brgy. Isian Norte, Brgy. Tina-an Sur, Brgy. Panginman and Brgy. Poblacion, Leon, Iloilo, as part of target hardening measures, aimed to deter potential criminal activities and ensure immediate police response to any incident, alarms or reports of suspicious behavior.

Also to ensure the security and safety of the community and maintain peace and order.
