The Bureau of Fire Protection – Lian Fire Station personnel conducted the cleaning and maintenance of fire truck to ensure their cleanliness, proper upkeep, and operational readiness. This activity reflects the personnel’s commitment to maintaining serviceable firefighting equipment and ensuring preparedness for emergency response operations.

Through regular cleaning and maintenance, BFP Lian Fire Station continues to uphold its commitment to providing efficient and reliable fire protection and emergency services to the community.

If you smell LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas), stay calm and act quickly! 🚨

✅ Turn off the LPG valve if it is safe to do so.
❌ Do not light matches, candles, or any flame.
❌ Do not switch electrical appliances on or off.
🪟 Open doors and windows to allow ventilation, if safe.
🚶 Evacuate the area and keep away from the suspected leak.
📞 Contact the fire station or emergency services from a safe location.

🔥 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐘 𝐓𝐈𝐏𝐒: 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐀 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 — 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑! 🛑💧

A grease fire can spread rapidly when water is added. Stay calm and remember these important steps:

🔥 𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡 𝗢𝗙𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗧 — If it is safe to do so, turn off the stove or heat source. Do not move the pan.

🛑 𝗦𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘— Carefully cover the pan with a metal lid or baking sheet to cut off the oxygen. A fire blanket may also be used if available.

🧯 𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗥 — If available and you are trained to use one, use a Class K fire extinguisher for cooking-oil fires.

💧❌ 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥!— Water can cause hot oil to splatter and spread the fire, resulting in serious burns and larger flames.

🚪 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗕𝗧, 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗧! Evacuate immediately and call the fire service for assistance.

The Bureau of Fire Protection – Lian Fire Station conducted Blood Pressure and Pulse Rate Monitoring among its personnel as part of our continuing commitment to health, wellness, and readiness for duty.

Regular monitoring helps personnel stay aware of their health status and promotes early attention to possible health concerns—because a healthy firefighter is a ready firefighter. 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Lian Fire Station, together with other participating agencies, took part in the Inter-Agency Territorial Defense and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response Operation Exercise held at Barangay Matabungkay, Lian, Batangas.

The activity aimed to strengthen inter-agency coordination, enhance operational readiness, and improve the capabilities of participating agencies in responding to emergencies, disasters, and humanitarian assistance operations.

Through this collaborative exercise, BFP Lian Fire Station and its partner agencies reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring public safety, strengthening disaster preparedness, and providing effective emergency response to the community.
