PAJO, LIBERTAD, ANTIQUE – A seminar-workshop was conducted for the Pajo Fisherfolks and Farmers Association (PaFFA), a beneficiary of the BFAR-SAAD Program. The activity was coordinated by BFAR-SAAD and conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Antique through Negosyo Center Libertad.

The seminar-workshop covered Effective Selling and Negotiation Skills, Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Techniques, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Through discussions and practical activities, participants gained knowledge and skills to improve their selling practices, address business challenges, make sound decisions, and build stronger customer relationships.

The activity aimed to help PaFFA members increase sales, strengthen customer loyalty, and sustain their livelihood enterprises.

An Entrepreneurship Seminar cm Financial Literacy Orientation for returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) was conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) - Antique through Negosyo Center - Libertad on 07 May 2026 at the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) Conference Room, Libertad, Antique, as part of the requirements under the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Balik Pinas Program.

The seminar aimed to equip participants with basic knowledge on entrepreneurship, financial management and savings. Discussions focused on developing an entrepreneurial mindset, identifying business opportunities, and practicing responsible financial planning for long-term business sustainability.

The activity also served as a venue to orient participants on available government assistance programs and encourage financial resilience through entrepreneurship and responsible financial planning.

- Loanable amount is from P30,000 up to P20 milyon
- Collateral-free para sa mga pautang na hanggang ₱5 milyon.
- 1 taon na palugit

Mahalagang malaman ang pagkakaiba ng Basic Necessities at Prime Commodities.

Ayon sa RA 7581 o Price Act, ang Basic Necessities (BN) ay mga produktong kailangan para mabuhay at manatiling malusog, lalo na sa panahon ng sakuna o krisis. Samantala, ang Prime Commodities (PC) ay hindi pangunahing pangangailangan pero mahalaga pa rin sa pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay, ayon sa Price Act.
