BFP R5 Libmanan Fire Station

Libmanan Fire Station, led by SFO3 Jack Gregory Barde, SHIFT-B duty personnel, conducted a turnover of duties and responsibilities to SHIFT-A, which included the newly acquired 2 multi-functional searching lights and 4 units of Motorola two-way radio walkie-talkies (long range, 10 km).

This new essential communication and illumination equipment will significantly improve our personnel's ability to respond effectively, especially in low-visibility and nighttime conditions.👨‍🚒🔥

Libmanan Fire Station personnel FO1 Balanoyos & FO1 Jegillos headed by SFO3 Jack Gregory Barde actively participated in Proper donning (putting on) and doffing (taking off) of firefighting personal protective equipment (PPE).

Training in the proper donning and doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential for firefighter safety, performance, and long-term health.

This activity is important in ensuring that BFP personnel are properly equipped with the knowledge and skills in using PPE and SCBA during emergency operations. It helps prevent injuries, improves safety in hazardous environments, and enhances the effectiveness and confidence of responders in carrying out their duties.
