Liloan was founded in 1820 but ecclesiastical work began 1918. Its territorial is composed of the Poblacion, Amaga, Anilao, Bahay, Cagbungalon, Calian, Caligangan, Candayuman, Catig, Estela (founded by three Bohol migrants and in 1904 was made a barrio by Gov. PUBLIC ADVISORY

The Municipality of Liloan, Southern Leyte informs the general public that the five (5)-day onsite work schedules at the Municipal Government Offices will officially resume starting June 1, 2026, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

This is in accordance with Executive Order No. 24, series of 2026, issued by Honorable Jonna C. Adan, Municipal Mayor.

All offices shall strictly observe the said schedule to ensure efficient and continuous delivery of public services.

We encourage everyone to be guided accordingly.
