A meaningful day of sharing, learning, and friendship. 💙

Our heartfelt thanks to our friends from the Province of Ifugao for taking the time to visit the Provincial Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) of the Province of Pangasinan .

More than just a visit, it became a wonderful opportunity for us to sit together, exchange experiences, share our practices, and talk about the realities, challenges, and opportunities in serving persons with disabilities in our respective communities.

We believe that we do not have to work in isolation. Every province has something valuable to share, and every conversation gives us an opportunity to learn from one another. When LGUs open their doors to collaboration and exchange, we strengthen not only our programs but also the disability movement that we collectively serve.

We are grateful that some of Pangasinan's experiences, initiatives, and practices can be shared with our fellow disability advocates and public servants from Ifugao. In the same way, we value the insights and experiences they shared with us—because inclusion is a continuing journey, and there is always something new to learn from one another.

May this visit be the beginning of a stronger friendship and partnership between Pangasinan and Ifugao , united by one important purpose: to create communities where persons with disabilities are heard, respected, empowered, and meaningfully included.

Thank you for visiting us and for sharing this meaningful time with the PDAO Pangasinan family. Our doors will always be open for learning, collaboration, and friendship. ❤️

International Day of Sign Languages 🫶🏻

Nakikiisa ang DSWD sa paggunita ng International Day of Sign Languages, na nagbibigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng accessible at inclusive na komunikasyon para ang bawat isa ay malayang makapagpahayag, makipag-ugnayan at maunawaan.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga serbisyo at programa para sa persons with disabilities, isinusulong ng DSWD ang kanilang karapatang makilahok sa komunidad, maipahayag ang kanilang sarili at magkaroon ng access sa mga serbisyong tumutugon sa kanilang mga pangangailangan.

Dahil ang tunay na inklusyon ay hindi lamang tungkol sa pagbibigay ng serbisyo. Ito ay tungkol sa pagtiyak na ang bawat isa ay may pagkakataong marinig, maunawaan at maging aktibong bahagi ng komunidad.
