The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has issued Memorandum Circular No. 2026-038, which provides the Implementing Guidelines on "Bawat Barangay Makikinabang: Presidential Assistance under the Socio-Civic Project Funds Project."

The memorandum outlines the program's implementing guidelines, including the eligibility criteria and selection process for the Bagong Pilipinas Barangays Scholars Program.

Ms. Uchida Kana, JICA Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer (JOCV), conducted her Final Reporting on June 17, 2026, at the Conference Room of the Loay Municipal Hall, where she presented her accomplishments, experiences, and contributions during her volunteer service in the Municipality of Loay.

The activity was attended by Municipal Mayor Hilario Ayuban, heads of offices, and visitors from JICA: Mr. Makoto Kato, JICA Volunteer Coordinator, and Ms. Lyr Faith Paruhinog, JICA Program Officer.

As Ms. Uchida concludes her volunteer journey and returns home to Japan, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for her dedication, commitment, and invaluable service to the people of Loay. Thank you for sharing your time, knowledge, and passion with our community. We wish you safe travels and continued success in your future endeavors.

Today, the Municipality successfully conducted the Joint Second Quarter Meeting of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC), Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC), and Municipal Development Council (MDC) at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Loay, Bohol.

The meeting was presided over by Municipal Mayor Atty. Hilario Ayuban and attended by members of the different councils to discuss significant matters concerning peace and order, anti-drug initiatives, disaster preparedness, and priority development programs of the municipality especially the ongoing progress on the water connection project from Tiguis, Lila, a significant initiative aimed at improving water accessibility and strengthening basic service delivery for the community.

The activity highlights the continuing commitment of the local government and partner stakeholders in fostering good governance, strengthening inter-agency coordination, and promoting the overall welfare of the community.

On January 26, 2026, the Municipality of Loay conducted the First Quarter Joint Meeting of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC), Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) at the SB Session Hall.
