It’s 𝗘𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, and we need to talk about the fact that some of our country’s main characters are literally disappearing. The Philippine Red List is giving us a major reality check:
❣️𝗟𝘂𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 (𝘎𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘢 𝘭𝘶𝘻𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢) — Vulnerable
🌿𝗝𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗲 (𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘺𝘭𝘰𝘥𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘳𝘺𝘴) — Endangered
🌿𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗮-𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮 (𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢) — Critically Endangered
These aren't just images; they are reminders of our responsibility to the planet. Let’s keep the "Heart" of the Philippines beating.❤️🇵🇭

This woody vine from the UPLB Makiling Botanic Gardens stuns with its glossy leaves and large, 3-valved fruit capsules. Beautiful but non-edible – admire only!⚠️
