Municipal Ordinance No. 2023-2380 or the "Comprehensive Smoke and Vape-Free Ordinance of the Municipality of Los Baños"

❌ Smoking and va**ng are prohibited in all enclosed public areas, government offices, workplaces, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and public transportation.

❌ The sale, advertising, and promotion of to***co and v**e products are not allowed within 100 meters of schools, public playgrounds, and healthcare establishments.

The Los Baños Municipal Health Office, together with the Municipal Government of Los Baños, stands to its commitment to protecting every resident from the dangers of smoking and va**ng by creating smoke-free and v**e-free spaces to support healthier communities.

📍Los Baños RHU 1 (main health center)

Bukod sa libreng konsultasyon, maaari ring makakuha ng prescription eyeglasses na may kaukulang bayad at diskwento.

‼️Mayroon lamang pong 70 slots para sa libreng eye check-up. First come, first serve basis.

The Food and Drug Administration, in coordination with the Los Baños Municipal Health Office, conducted an advocacy activity on the safe use of household/urban pesticides in order to prevent pest-borne diseases.

Among the resource speakers were Mr. Wilson B. Gascon, Sanitation Inspector II of the Los Baños Municipal Health Office who gave an overview of Dengue, and Carina Janelle Baes, Food-Drug Regulation Officer II of the Food and Drug Administration who discussed household/urban pesticides (HUP) products, and its proper labelling and safety tips.

The advocacy activity was attended by Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Barangay Kagawad for Health, representatives from the Department of Health (Philippines), and representatives from the Los Baños Municipal Health Office.

Ngayong ikalawang linggo ng Mayo, ating ginugunita ang Safe Motherhood Week bilang paalala na ang kalusugan ng ina ay mahalaga para sa ligtas na pagbubuntis at panganganak.
Dapat Tandaan:
✔️ Magpatingin agad sa health center o doktor kapag buntis
✔️ Kumpletuhin ang prenatal check-up
✔️ Kumain ng masustansyang pagkain at uminom ng vitamins na nireseta
✔️ Iwasan ang bisyo tulad ng paninigarilyo at pag-inom ng alak
✔️ Magpabakuna at sundin ang payo ng health workers
✔️ Siguraduhing may plano para sa ligtas na panganganak

Ang regular na pagpapakonsulta habang buntis ay nakatutulong upang maiwasan ang komplikasyon at mapanatiling ligtas ang ina at sanggol. Ang tamang kaalaman at suporta ng pamilya ay mahalagang bahagi ng isang ligtas na pagbubuntis. 👩‍🍼✨
