We've been busy... and here's what we've been doing for the past few days!

Day 1 of the Public Procurement Specialist Certification Course Level 2 Batch 4 officially commenced on 03 July 2025, where Vice Chancellor Rolando T. Bello gave his warm welcome remarks. This was followed by an inspirational message from Chancellor Jose V. Camacho Jr. As practiced, the house rules and introduction of the participants was facilitated by Dr. Eileen Lorena M. Mamino, PPSCC Program Director for UPLB. For this batch, we have a total of 134 participants from LGUs, SUCs, and private companies.

For the first day of the course, Mr. Leoncio A. Arellano from the Department of Budget and Management was the resource speaker. he delivered a very insightful discussion on Public Expenditure Management which was followed by an Open Forum mediated by Dr. Mamino.

Before Day 1 ended, the PPSCC Facilitating Team guided all 134 participants in setting up their respective LMS which they will utilize throughout the whole 8-day course.
