𝐀𝐌𝐓𝐄𝐂 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒: AMTEC warmly welcomed Senior High School faculty member Mr. Vincent Eduard Sta. Clara and Mr. Rodolfo Buena Jr., along with college faculty member Ms. Amanda Delos Santos, from Ateneo de Naga University, on April 22, 2026, at the Roberto C. Bautista Hall. This marked the second day of their three-day benchmarking visit to UPLB.

Their afternoon visit began with a courtesy call at the College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology (CEAT) Dean’s Office. At AMTEC, their primary objective was to benchmark agricultural machinery demonstrations and explore the possibility of establishing an internship program at the Center for their senior high school students.

The visitors were given an orientation on AMTEC, followed by a brief tour of the Agricultural Machinery Testing and Studies (AMaTS) Laboratory and the Sample Analysis Laboratory (SAL). The tour was led by resident test engineers, who also provided a short discussion of the instruments used.

The Center looks forward to potential future collaboration with the university.
