Building Strong Community Relationships

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs (OVCCA) serves as UPLB's arm in nurturing harmonious relations with the University's various constituents, namely the UPLB students, faculty, and staff, allied institutions, the Los Baños community and local government, and communities in the CALABARZON region.

#OVCCAUPLB oversees the following units: The University Police Force (UPF), University Health Service (UHS), University Housing Office (UHO), and the Business Affairs Office (BAO).

The OVCCA also oversees the Occupational Health and Safety Standards Committee (OHSSC), the Solid Waste Management Committee (SWMC), the Programmatic Environmental Performance Report and Management Plan (PEPRMP), the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Task Force (DDRMTF), and the Joint Management Committees (JMCs) for all of UPLB's land leases.
