Lubuagan SB Tackles Key Development, Environmental and Community Concerns

10-05-26 | Key concerns on community resources, infrastructure development, financial assistance, environmental protection, and ancestral domain management were among the matters tackled during the 62nd Regular Session of the Sangguniang Bayan of Lubuagan on October 5, 2026.

At the start of the session, the council ratified the proceedings of its previous regular session held on September 28, 2026, before proceeding with the day’s legislative agenda.

Water Source Protection:

🌟 STSL @ 102: SHINING AS A STAR OF HOPE, GUIDED BY FAITH & EXCELLENCE 🌟

102 years of faith. 102 years of excellence. 102 years of shaping lives and serving the community.

The Saint Teresita’s School of Lubuagan community proudly celebrates its 102nd Founding Anniversary, held on October 2–4, 2026, bringing together students, faculty and staff, alumni, parents, partner stakeholders, and the wider community in a meaningful celebration of faith, heritage, service, and achievement.

Anchored on the theme “STSL @ 102: Shining as a Star of Hope, Guided with Faith & Excellence,” the three-day celebration honored the school’s rich history while looking toward a future filled with hope and renewed commitment.

The celebration was graced by distinguished guests and speakers, including NBI Region 2 Assistant Director Nornan O. Revita, PCPT Carl Marx L. Cawili, and Lubuagan Mayor Joel Tagaotao, who shared inspiring messages on the importance of education, service, leadership, and community involvement.

The guest speakers also appealed to the STSL alumni and stakeholders to continue supporting their alma mater as the institution faces financial challenges in sustaining its operations. Their call reflects the importance of unity and collective responsibility in ensuring that STSL can continue its mission of serving the youth and communities of Lubuagan and Kalinga.

The occasion also highlighted the school’s continuing commitment to its core values of Truth, Christian Values, Integrity, Local Heritage, and Service—values that have helped shape generations of Teresians.

In his message, School Administrator, Rev. Fr. Louie Espinola emphasized the importance of faith, compassion, humility, and service, reminding the STSL community that the school’s mission goes beyond the classroom—it is about forming individuals who will become instruments of positive transformation in society.

For 102 years, Saint Teresita’s School of Lubuagan has been a beacon of knowledge, faith, and service. And as we look back with gratitude and move forward with determination, we are reminded that the true legacy of STSL is found in the lives it has touched, the dreams it has nurtured, the values it has instilled, and the communities it continues to serve.

💙 Happy 102nd Founding Anniversary, our beloved Saint Teresita’s School of Lubuagan!

🙏 To God be the glory!
