Anchored on President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to strengthen efforts to protect workers’ welfare and promote safe and healthy working conditions, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Francis N. Tolentino convened platform companies for a dialogue on strengthening measures to protect workers amid extreme heat and El Niño-related challenges on 23 October 2026.

The Department of Labor and Employment - Quezon Provincial Office conducted the payout ceremony for one thousand 1,000 beneficiaries under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) Program on October 19, 2026, held at the Barangay Rizaliana Gymnasium. Through the emergency employment program, a total wage payout of Php 18,600,000 was released to reward workers for 31 days of community work and rehabilitation efforts.

Throughout the 31-day work period, the beneficiaries actively participated in vital local government initiatives aimed at public health and environmental sustainability. Among the key activities rendered were the Municipal Health Office’s (MHO) “Oplan Kontra Dengue” and the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office’s (MENRO) “Sagip Sapa Program.”

This undertaking was implemented through the joint efforts of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Quezon Provincial Office, headed by Ms. Cristina H. Barayang, and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Mauban, under the leadership of PESO Manager Ms. Maricon Kaye Pastrana-Arenas.

Driven by the initiative of DOLE Secretary Francis N.TOLentino, this program continues to deliver on its promise of providing essential livelihood support and temporary employment to our hardworking Filipino workers.

The Department of Labor and Employment - Quezon Provincial Office (DOLE-QPO) expresses its sincere gratitude to all the TUPAD beneficiaries for their invaluable contribution to the cleanliness, safety, and overall welfare of the municipality.

HAPPENING NOW! | 2026 QUEZON BASIC EMPLOYMENT SERVICE TRAINING (BEST)

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Quezon Provincial Office, in partnership with the PESO Managers Association of the Philippines (PESOMAP), opens Day 1 of the 2026 Quezon Basic Employment Service Training (BEST) for PESO Managers and staff today, October 21, 2026, at the Queen Margarette Hotel Downtown. This three-day intensive capacity building activity, aims to enhance the operational capabilities and delivery of employment services among Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and Job Placement Office (JPO) managers and personnel across the province. The event commenced with an opening message from Ms. Cristina H. Barayang, Head of the DOLE Quezon Provincial Office, emphasizing the essential role of continuous professional development and strategic collaboration in advancing public service excellence.

Calling all registered Public Sector Employees' Organizations (PSEOs)!

The Public Sector Labor-Management Council (PSLMC) announces the conduct of the 2026 Regional Workers Congress (RWC) across various regional clusters nationwide.
The RWC will serve as the first stage of the two-step election process, where sectoral labor representatives from participating regions will be elected to take part in the National Workers Congress.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), through the Bureau of Labor Relations (BLR), will serve as the Committee on Elections (COMELEC) for the 2026 RWC, facilitating the election of sectoral labor representatives who will advance to the National Workers Congress.

All registered PSEOs are encouraged to participate in Official Business, subject to the availability of agency funds and applicable accounting and auditing rules.

🤝🚂 TULONG PANGHANAPBUHAY PARA SA MGA PAMILYANG APEKTADO NG PNR SOUTH LONG HAUL PROJECT SA CANDELARIA, QUEZON!

Nagsanib puwersa ang Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), at ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Candelaria, Quezon upang magpaabot ng agarang tulong at suporta sa ating mga kababayang naapektuhan ng PNR South Long Haul Project.

Nitong nakaraang Oktubre 15, 2026, matagumpay na isinagawa ang payout para sa programang TUPAD (Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers) sa Barangay Mangilag Sur Covered Court. Mahigit 800 benepisyaryo mula sa apat (4) na apektadong barangay ang nakatanggap ng sweldong nagkakahalaga ng ₱6,000 bawat isa, na may kabuuang ₱4,800,000. 💸✨

Personal na dinaluhan at sinaksihan ang naturang pamamahagi nina PCUP Chairperson Usec. Michelle Anne "Che-Che" B. Gonzales at Office of the Cabinet Secretary Usec. Atty. Bret Monsanto, kasama ang mga kinatawan mula sa DOLE at LGU Candelaria.

🌱 Sa loob ng sampung (10) araw, buong-pusong nakiisa ang mga benepisyaryo sa iba't ibang gawaing pangkomunidad tulad ng community gardening, pagtatanim ng mga puno, at pagpapanatili ng kalinisan at kaayusan sa kani-kanilang pamayanan.

Sa pangunguna at inisyatiba ni DOLE Secretary Francis N. TOLentino, patuloy na tinutupad ng programang ito ang pangakong magbigay ng mahahalagang suporta sa kabuhayan at pansamantalang trabaho sa ating mga masisipag na manggagawang Pilipino.
Maraming salamat sa inyong sipag, dedikasyon, at paglilingkod sa bayan!

Sa pamamagitan ng inisyatibong ito, hindi lamang naipagkaloob ang pansamantalang trabaho at karagdagang kita para sa mga pamilya, kundi naging katuwang din sila sa pagpapaganda at pangangalaga sa kapaligiran ng bayan ng Candelaria.

Patuloy ang maayos na pakikipag-ugnayan at pagtutulungan ng PCUP, DOLE, at LGU Candelaria upang matiyak na sa gitna ng modernisasyon at pag-unlad ng imprastraktura, protektado at hindi maiiwanan ang kapakanan at kabuhayan ng ating mga mamamayan. 🤝❤

🤝🏛️💼 DOLE QUEZON, KATUWANG NG MGA MSMEs SA PAG-ABOT NG LIGTAS AT COMPLIANT NA PAGAWAAN!

Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pag-alalay sa mga micro-enterprises sa lalawigan, matagumpay na isinagawa ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Quezon Provincial Office ang Technical Advisory Visit (TAV) noong Oktubre 15, 2026, sa ATV Lucban Gym, Brgy. Tinamnan, Lucban, Quezon.

✅🎯 BAKIT MAHALAGA ANG TECHNICAL ADVISORY VISIT (TAV)?

Ang TAV ay isang developmental approach ng DOLE upang tulungan, sa halip na patawan agad ng parusa, ang mga maliliit na negosyo (micro-establishments) na maunawaan at maipatupad nang tama ang mga pamantayan sa paggawa. Sa pamamagitan ng TAV, nabibigyan ang mga employer ng sapat na gabay upang maging compliant, habang natitiyak naman ang proteksyon at kapakanan ng mga manggagawa.

👥 Sa ginanap na aktibidad, mahigit 70 kalahok mula sa bayan ng Lucban ang nabigyan ng teknikal na kaalaman sa mga sumusunod:

💼🏢📜 General Labor Standards (GLS): Wastong pagpapatupad ng tamang pasahod, statutory benefits, at makatarungang kondisyon sa paggawa.

🪖👷‍♂️👷‍♀️ R.A. 11058 (Occupational Safety and Health Standards): Mga alituntunin sa pagbuo ng ligtas, malusog, at malayo sa aksidenteng kapaligiran sa trabaho.

Ang matagumpay na TAV na ito ay naisakatuparan sa pakikipagtulungan ng Public Employment Service Office (PESO) ng LGU Lucban, Quezon.

Sa pamamagitan ng edukasyon at tamang paggabay, patuloy ang DOLE sa pagbuo ng mas ligtas, mas produktibo, at may malasakit na mga pagawaan sa buong Quezon!
