SOLCOM Welcomes Newly Assigned Personnel, Recognizes Outstanding Units, and Commends Newly Promoted Civilian Human Resources
Camp Guillermo Nakar, Lucena City — 05 October 2026 — The Southern Luzon Command, Armed Forces of the Philippines (SOLCOM), welcomed newly assigned personnel, recognized outstanding units for their contributions to the Command, and witnessed the oath-taking of newly promoted Civilian Human Resources during its regular Flag Raising Ceremony held at Headquarters SOLCOM.
During the ceremony, COMMODORE MARCO N BUENA PN, Deputy Commander, SOLCOM, formally welcomed LTC HAZ VINCENT M RAMONEDA PA and SMS ARIEL F. COBARDO PA as they joined the Command. He expressed confidence that their expertise, dedication, and commitment to duty will further strengthen SOLCOM’s capabilities in accomplishing its mission.
The Command also presented Certificates of Recognition to representatives from the Tactical Operations Wing, Southern Luzon, Philippine Air Force, and the 401st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion, Reserve Command, Philippine Army, in recognition of their exemplary performance, dedication, and unwavering commitment to strengthening the AFP Reserve Force in Southern Luzon.
The recognition underscored the vital role of the Reserve Force in augmenting the AFP’s operational capabilities and enhancing the Command’s readiness to respond effectively to various security and humanitarian challenges within its area of responsibility.
Meanwhile, Ms. Jill A. Nollido, CivHR, took her oath of office following her well-deserved promotion. Her oath-taking signified her renewed commitment to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and excellence in the performance of her duties as a member of the AFP civilian workforce.
In his message, COMMODORE BUENA conveyed the message of LTGEN CERILO C. BALAORO JR PA, Commander, SOLCOM, congratulating the newly assigned personnel and recognizing the valuable contributions of the Command’s civilian workforce and reserve units.

I am confident that your contributions will further strengthen our collective efforts and enable us to meet the demands of our mission with greater purpose and determination.”
