The whole Rimos Dos is rejoicing as our very own Patricia Leann Lachica blossomed with grace and confidence and was crowned Mutia ti Luna – Turismo 2025. Her performance on stage radiated elegance and poise, captivating the audience with her charm and eloquence. She further proved her brilliance by winning the Most Articulate Award. Congratulations, Pat — we are proud of you!

Vincent Francisco exploded for 20 points, leading Rimos Dos to a commanding first victory, 66-55 over Sucoc Sur on September 16 in the Mayor’s Cup Inter-Barangay Reinforced Basketball Tournament. His explosive performance earned him Best Player of the Game honors and set the tone for the barangay’s winning campaign.

Rimos Dos flexes its firepower, clinching a second straight win in the Mayor’s Cup Inter-Barangay Reinforced Basketball Tournament. On September 21, they dismantled Sucoc Norte with a decisive 74–46 blowout.

Kent Ombajen led the charge and was named Best Player of the Game, dropping 14 points with grit and precision. With two victories locked in, their path to the crown grows fiercer by the game—barangay pride, reinforced and rising.

On June 12, 1898, Ambrosio Rianzares Bautista, a Filipino lawyer, reformist, and nationalist, wrote and read the Act of Declaration of Philippine Independence in Spanish during the historic proclamation in Kawit, Cavite. Contrary to popular belief, it was he—not Aguinaldo—who waved the Philippine flag, and it was done from a window, not the balcony. Bautista also served as Solicitor General of the revolutionary government. As the Philippines celebrates its 127th Independence Day today, June 12, 2025, his contributions remain vital in honoring the nation’s fight for freedom.
