RAPID CONVENIENCE MONITORING AT LUUK, SULU FOR MRSIA 2026 đź’‰

The Department of Health – Zamboanga Peninsula Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD IX), through the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO)–Sulu, conducted the Rapid Convenience Monitoring (RCM) for the recently implemented Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MRSIA) 2026 at Luuk, Sulu in the following barangays: Tulayan, Tandu Bato and Kanmindus.

The DOH-CHD IX team is composed of Dr. Julius Matthew Luzana, Mr. Azman Akbara and Ms. Fharsheena Sappari who thoroughly validates every households with target children together with the team from IPHO-Sulu headed by Dr. Nhamier M. Jikiri— the OIC-PHO II, Mr. Juli-Ian Sangkula— the Chief of Technical Working Group, Ms. Adzrina Madoh and Mr. Bren Amilhamja as members of the Technical Working Group.

The RCM has worked under the scorching heat of the sun to validate immunization records, ensuring datas are accurate and have met the national standards. The team also revisited target children who were previously on deferral or refusal status, encouraging parents to submit their children for immunization.

The Luuk Rural Health Unit are honored to be acknowledged with our skills and efforts during the MRSIA 2026. We are at bliss that our hardwork are appreciated and seen. The RCM efforts resulted to a successful MRSIA 2026 of Luuk RHU. Alhamdulillah! Thank you so much DOH-CHD IX and IPHO-Sulu! 🫶🏻
