Luuk Municipal Fire Station, led by Station Head and Acting Municipal Fire Marshal SFO3 Sedmar H Harib, proudly joins the Closing Ceremony of the Joint Coastal Barangay Maritime Responder Basic Training Class 02-2026 & Water Search and Rescue Training, held at the Municipal Covered Court, Brgy. Lahing-Lahing, Omar, Sulu.

This collaborative initiativeโ€”spearheaded by the Coast Guard Station Eastern Sulu and the Local Government Unit of Omarโ€”strengthens our collective maritime readiness, enhances emergency response capabilities, and fosters seamless coordination among partner agencies and support units.

Through continuous skill-building and inter-agency cooperation, we stand more prepared than ever to safeguard lives and properties along our coastal communities.

Emergency Medical Response

Personnel of Luuk Municipal Fire Station, led by SFO3 Sedmar H Harib, responded promptly when a walk-in individual arrived at the station seeking medical assistance. The patient remained conscious, alert, and responsive, reporting complaints of headache and dizziness.

Duty personnel immediately assisted the patient into a comfortable position and conducted a thorough initial assessment. Vital signs were carefully evaluated and recorded as follows: Blood Pressure - 150/90 mmHg, Pulse Rate - 94 bpm, Respiratory Rate - 22 cpm, Oxygen Saturation - 98%, and Temperature - 36.7ยฐC.

Appropriate first aid was promptly administered, and the patient was strongly advised to secure ample rest, maintain proper hydration, and increase fluid intake for full recovery.
