📢𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁📢

We are pleased to inform you about our ongoing initiatives, Projects LAWA (Local Adaptation to Water Access) and BINHI (Breaking Insufficiency through Nutritious Harvest for the Impoverished), originally launched by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

These projects, in partnership with our City Social Welfare and Development Office of Mabalacat City, aim to build climate- and disaster-resilient communities by constructing water reservoirs to assist farmers in overcoming dry spells.

Both initiatives focus on enhancing water management, alleviating hunger, and reducing poverty.
As part of this effort, the PYAP Mabalacat has been allocated a total of 𝟑𝟎𝟎 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐬 for disadvantaged youth and their families.

Please be advised that the slots for Bini and Lawa (Tupad) are now officially closed. We appreciate your interest and patience. Kindly await further details regarding confirmation and orientation for the project.

Mabalacat City, Pampanga – The 𝐏𝐚𝐠-𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐏𝐘𝐀𝐏) 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 continues to illuminate the path of youth empowerment, proving itself as a beacon of hope and inspiration. The organization recently achieved a monumental feat, 𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 at the prestigious 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬' 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬, held on August 21, 2024, at the Hacienda Gracia Resort and Hotel in Lubao, Pampanga.

PYAP Mabalacat City Chapter was crowned 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝, a testament to its unwavering commitment to fostering youth development and creating a positive impact on the community. The organization's unwavering dedication to empowering young people has been evident in its numerous initiatives, which have touched the lives of countless individuals.

In addition to the prestigious Most Outstanding Registered Youth Organization award, the PYAP Mabalacat City Chapter also celebrated the remarkable achievement of its former 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐇𝐲𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐞𝐭. Macasaet was honored with the 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐞, recognizing her exceptional leadership skills and her ability to inspire others to reach their full potential.

PYAP Mabalacat City Chapter's success is a result of the collective efforts of its dedicated members and supporters. The organization would like to express our sincere gratitude to our Boss, Ma'am Josephine Basilio Tanglao, for her unwavering support, and to Ma'am Catherine Escoto Tubig, our focal person, for her guidance and mentorship.

PYAP Bundagul is part of the broader PYAP Mabalacat and operating under the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), has been making a tangible impact at the barangay level. Their successful second monthly cleanup drive, launched in April, exemplifies their dedication to environmental stewardship. The initiative has resulted in significant waste collection and generated funds for future projects.

The IYC, a United Nations-affiliated platform, empowers young leaders to address global challenges. PYAP Bundagul President JJohn Warren Lansanganexpressed gratitude for the acknowledgment, reinforcing the group's commitment to community development and their aspiration for continued engagement with international forums.

This achievement underscores the potential of Filipino youth to drive positive change and inspires others to follow suit.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) supports the Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) as they celebrate their remarkable 50th anniversary with the theme, "Golden Milestone: Fostering Generational Youth-Led Initiatives for Inclusivity and Social Change."

PYAP is a nationwide, barangay-based organization for out-of-school youth aged 15-30 who are clients of the DSWD. It is structured in a federation from municipal to national levels, providing a platform for discussing youth issues and planning solutions. PYAP uses the DSWD’s Unlad Kabataan Program (formerly known as the Integrated Human Resource Development Program for Youth) to help members realize their potential, contribute to their communities, and engage in nation building.
