The City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) of Mabalacat City, through its Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Technical Working Group, successfully conducted its meeting today, May 20, 2026, at the CDRRMO Conference Room.
The meeting focused on the proposed realignment of funds for POPS Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs), as well as other matters related to the strengthening of peace and order and public safety initiatives in the city.
The activity was presided over by Mr. Oscar Deang Jr., City Accountant and concurrent City Administrator, together with members of the POPS Technical Working Group and representatives from concerned offices.
During the meeting, participants discussed the proper allocation and utilization of available resources to ensure the effective implementation of programs and activities that promote community safety, public order, and responsive local governance. The proposed realignment of funds shall be presented during the CPOC Regular Second Quarter Meeting for approval.
The conduct of the meeting reflects the commitment of the City Government of Mabalacat to uphold collaboration among stakeholders and sustain initiatives that contribute to a safer and more secure community.

The DILG Mabalacat City Field Office successfully concluded the Table Assessment for the CY 2026 Building Excellence in Service and Transparency (BEST) for Barangays today, May 18, 2026, pursuant to the Departmentโs continuing mandate to promote accountability, transparency, and excellence in local governance.
CLGOO Dianne Lorin T. Tolentino led the whole assessment and evaluation process in support of institutionalizing responsive, transparent, and performance-based governance among the barangays of Mabalacat City.
Barangays Dau and San Francisco underwent the table assessment today, Monday, May 18, 2026, as the final batch of participating barangays. All 27 barangays of Mabalacat City successfully complied with the documentary and assessment requirements of the program.
Barangays that successfully satisfy the standards and criteria of the BEST Barangay Assessment shall be endorsed to the Department of the Interior and Local Government โ Pampanga Provincial Office for further assessment and validation.
Through this initiative, the DILG Mabalacat City Field Office reaffirms its commitment to strengthening institutional integrity and advancing responsive, transparent, and service-oriented barangay governance.

CLGOO Dianne Lorin T. Tolentino led the assessment and evaluation process in support of institutionalizing responsive, transparent, and performance-based governance among the barangays of Mabalacat City.
For todayโs assessment, Barangays Camachiles, Paralayunan, and Cacutud underwent the evaluation process as part of the 6th batch of participating barangays.
Meanwhile, Barangays Dau and San Francisco are scheduled to undergo the table assessment on Monday, May 18, 2026, as the final batch of participating barangays.
Barangays that successfully satisfy the standards and criteria of the BEST Barangay Assessment shall be endorsed to the Department of the Interior and Local Government โ Pampanga Provincial Office for further assessment and validation.

CLGOO Dianne Lorin T. Tolentino leads the assessment and evaluation process in support of strengthening transparency, accountability, and service excellence among the barangays of Mabalacat City.
The assessment is scheduled on May 11, 12, and 13, 2026, covering all remaining barangays.
For todayโs assessment, Barangays Sapang Biabas, Atlu-Bola, Bical, and Bundagul underwent the evaluation process as part of the fourth batch of participating barangays.
Barangays that successfully pass the BEST Barangay Assessment shall be endorsed to the Department of the Interior and Local Government โ Pampanga Provincial Office for further assessment and validation.

The activity is being spearheaded by Dianne Lorin T. Tolentino as part of the continuing efforts to promote transparency, accountability, and excellence in local governance among the barangays of Mabalacat City.
The table assessment is scheduled on May 4, 5, 6, 11, and 12, 2026, covering all 27 barangays of Mabalacat City.
Today marked the second day of assessment, with Barangays San Joaquin, Paralayunan, Poblacion, and Mawaque serving as the second batch of barangays to undergo the evaluation process.
Barangays that will successfully pass the BEST Barangay Assessment shall be endorsed to the Department of the Interior and Local Government Pampanga Provincial Office for further assessment and validation.
