Honoring Excellence: The 2026 Most Outstanding Magaleño Awards

On April 30, 2026, the Municipal Government of Magalang, led by Mayor Malu Paras Lacson, formally recognized the extraordinary individuals who embody the core values of Tépangan (Bravery), Kabayanían (Heroism), and Kagalángan (Honor). The prestigious Most Outstanding Magaleño Awards (MOMA) ceremony was held at the Best Western Plus Metro Clark.

The MOMA was conferred upon seven distinguished citizens in recognition of their exemplary achievements and significant contributions across various sectors.

The 2026 Most Outstanding Magaleño Awardees:

•Dr. Arthur D. Dayrit – Agriculture and Environment

•Gen. Albert G. Magno (Ret.) – Law Enforcement

•Mr. Ismael S. Reyes – Banking and Finance

•Ms. Mylene A. Dizon – Overseas Filipino Worker

•Mr. Harvey M. San Miguel – Arts and Culture

•Dr. Joefrelin C. Ines – Education

•Ambassador Ruperto M. Dizon – Posthumous Award

The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Congressman Carmelo Lazatin, Jr. (1st District of Pampanga), Board Members Cherry Manalo and Christian Halili, and CPAO Reina Manuel.
