PEACE EDUCATION LEADERSHIP FORMATION COURSE FOR EDUCATORS

The Schools Division Office continues its active participation in the Peace Education Leadership Formation Course for Educators, sponsored by the Teach Peace Build Peace Movement, held on September 22–27, 2026, in Davao City.

Representing the Schools Division Superintendent is Administrative Officer Abas Abdula, together with Division Youth Formation Coordinator Almahdin Antoling, three School Administrators, and selected teachers from the new recipient schools: Datu Anggal Midtimbang Memorial NHS, Limpongo NHS, and Talayan NHS.

The activity aims to strengthen educators’ capacity to promote peace education, positive leadership, and a culture of peace within the school community.

Alhamdulillah!

The AKAP Teachers’ Contract Signing was successfully conducted as part of the Division’s continuing efforts to ensure the smooth implementation of the AKAP Program.

The activity was facilitated by Division AKAP Focal Person Anthony Belonio, with the support and assistance of other Division Personnel who helped ensure an organized and efficient process for the participating teachers.

The contract signing serves as an important step in formalizing the engagement of AKAP Teachers and strengthening their role in supporting the delivery of quality education to our learners.

The Schools Division Office of Maguindanao del Sur remains committed to providing the necessary support and guidance to our teachers throughout the implementation of the program.

PRE-IMPLEMENTATION MEETING FOR HGSF 2026–2027

The Schools Division Office of Maguindanao del Sur conducted a Pre-Implementation Meeting for the Home-Grown School Feeding (HGSF) Program for School Year 2026–2027 at the Division Conference Room, SDO-Maguindanao del Sur, Shariff Aguak.

The meeting brought together key division officials, school nurses, and school heads from HGSF beneficiary schools to discuss important preparations, implementation guidelines, roles and responsibilities, and other concerns to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of the program.

The activity was attended by Schools Division Superintendent Alma M. Abdula-Nor, PhD, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Alton D. Ampang, EdD, Chief of Finance Section Datu Arif A. Baraguir, Division Nurse-in-Charge Djanson E. Du, School Nurses, and School Heads of HGSF beneficiary schools.

The activity also included the signing of documents by the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) as part of the necessary preparations and procurement processes for the program implementation.

Through strong coordination, proper planning, and collective commitment, the SDO continues to support initiatives that promote the health, nutrition, well-being, and readiness to learn of our learners.

BAYANIHAN IN ACTION FOR EDUCATION!

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Municipality of Ampatuan, led by Local Executive Mayor Hon. Datu Rasul Sangki, for the generous donation to the Maguindanao del Sur Division Brigada Eskwela Donate for a Cause Bayanihan Project.

Under the stewardship of our Schools Division Superintendent, Alma M. Abdula-Nor, PhD., this support will go a long way in recognizing, inspiring, and empowering our schools. Alhamdulillah! A meaningful step toward inclusive education in Maguindanao del Sur!

The 2-day Project EQUAL-Sur (Education for All, Quality, Inclusive Learning in Maguindanao del Sur) training successfully concluded on August 17–18 at Janel Pension House and Restaurant, Tacurong City.

Funded and spearheaded by the Office of the Provincial Governor through PDAO, led by Sir Abdul-Rauf Lumabao, Sir Datu Annir Sangki, and team, the training brought together SPED Focals to share challenges, experiences, and best practices.

Thank you to resource speakers Richard U. Mogniling, Joel F. Delfin, and Klyssa Mascardo, and specially to our very active SDS Alma M. Abdula-Nor, PhD, for gracing the opening program and showing support despite her back-to-back schedule.

After days of commitment, coordination, and monitoring for the 1st Bangsamoro Parliamentary Election, the members of the SDO–Maguindanao del Sur Election Task Force officially signing off.

Maraming salamat SDS Alma M. Abdula-Nor, PhD, for the unwavering support, food, and other necessary assistance that helped us carry out the tasks entrusted to us.

Our heartfelt appreciation as well to our young and active ASDS Alton D. Ampang, EdD, for the constant assistance and support throughout the election period.
