Two Days of Learning, Collaboration, and Professional Growth!
The two-day In-Service Training (INSET) of the Manobo National High School teachers last September 10-11, 2026 was a meaningful and productive professional learning experience. Throughout the sessions, teachers actively participated in discussions, collaborative activities, sharing of insights, and hands-on learning, making the training both interactive and relevant to their teaching practice.
📚 Day 1 featured Juffrey P. Calimpitan, PhD, who led the session on “Mastering the ILAW: Lesson Plan Format,” helping teachers deepen their understanding of purposeful lesson planning and the ILAW framework.
📖 Day 2 featured three distinguished speakers who shared relevant and timely sessions:
Crizen Dale M. Tardo, LPT – Reorientation on the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program and ARAL Teaching Strategies
Juffrey P. Calimpitan, PhD – Revisiting DepEd Policies, Teachers’ Roles, and an Overview of PPST and PMES Indicators for SY 2026–2027
Reizalyn P. Mendez, LPT – Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices (IKSP)
More than a training activity, the two-day INSET provided an opportunity for teachers to learn from one another, reflect on their practices, strengthen professional competencies, and translate new knowledge into meaningful classroom practices.
A truly engaging two days of learning, sharing, collaboration, and growth!
