On August 14, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Mahayag celebrated Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 through a meaningful Outreach Program dedicated to bringing simple acts of kindness, smiles, and hope to our community.
Our outreach program brought us to Marquez Elementary School in Barangay Lower Sto. Niรฑo, the Elementary and High School of Upper Sto. Niรฑo, and the Mahayag Municipal Jail. The program began with a short message from our SK Federated President, Hon. Al Shariff Diangca, followed by additional instructions from our Master of Ceremony, SK Chairperson Hon. Dana Jane Egos, before the distribution of tote bags, tumblers, umbrellas, and snacks. The activity concluded with a memorable photo-taking session together with the students, teachers, and SK Chairpersons of Mahayag.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the SK Chairpersons from the different barangays of Mahayag for their support and cooperation in making this outreach possible. Although we were not complete, everyoneโs effort and willingness to continue made the activity meaningful. We also extend our sincere gratitude to our LYDO, Sir Gary Edullantes, for his continuous support, guidance, and encouragement to all of us SK Chairpersons. Your support inspires us to continue serving our youth and community with dedication and purpose.
We are deeply grateful to all the teachers for their cooperation, warm welcome, and full support. To our dear students, your smiles and appreciation meant more to us than you could ever know. The things we gave may seem simple and small, but seeing the joy they brought to you made every effort and preparation worthwhile.
Our visit to the Mahayag Municipal Jail was equally meaningful. We are thankful for the opportunity to share a simple gesture of kindness with the prisoners. Although what we were able to give was modest, their genuine smiles and appreciation reminded us that kindness is never measured by the amount we give, but by the happiness it brings to others.
Above all, we thank Almighty God for the good weather, safe travels, and strength that allowed us to fulfill our mission. This experience reminded us that even the smallest act of kindness can create a big smile and make a meaningful difference.
