[DARMASISWA SCHOLARSHIP 2026/2027]

DARMASISWA Indonesian Scholarship 2026/2027 is now open.

DARMASISWA is a non-degree scholarship program offered by the Government of Indonesia for foreign students from countries that have diplomatic relations with Indonesia to study Bahasa Indonesia, arts, and culture at selected universities across Indonesia.

Organized by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), DARMASISWA aims to promote Indonesian language and culture while strengthening international cultural understanding and friendship.

Program Duration:
10 or 12 months

Qualifications:
1. Foreign nationals.
2. Having completed secondary education or its equivalent.
3. Age requirements: must be at least 18 years old, with maximum age limit of 32 years old (special for this year).
4. Having the ability to communicate in English (proven by English Language Proficiency Certificate: TOEFL/TOEIC/IELTS or other certificate if applicable).
5. In good health condition as proven by a Medical Certificate.
6. Having basic knowledge of the applied field.
7. Having strong interest in learning the applied field.
8. Not registered as Darmasiswa Alumni.
9. Not registered as Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) Scholarship Alumni.
10. Not currently studying in Indonesia.
11. Not currently working in Indonesia.

[07 Mei 2026 - Kantor Atdikbud Menghadiri 2026 UP Diliman Chancellor's International Reception]

The representative of the Education and Culture Attaché Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Manila attended the 2026 UP Diliman Chancellor’s International Reception organized by the University of the Philippines Diliman.

The reception was attended by representatives from various foreign embassies as a form of support for international students pursuing their studies at the University of the Philippines Diliman. The event also served as a platform to strengthen international relations through cooperation in education, culture, and academic exchange.

The Education and Culture Attaché Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Manila appreciates the organization of this event as part of efforts to create an inclusive and collaborative academic environment that supports the development of international students.

[05 Mei 2026 - Opening Ceremony - International Development, Innovation, and Sustainabilitty Month Mirriam College]

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Manila, through the Education and Culture Attaché Office, proudly participated in the IDIS Month Opening Ceremony organized by Miriam College under the theme “Charting New Beginnings.”

The event marked the official launch of the International Development, Innovation, and Sustainability (IDIS) program and brought together students, alumni, academic institutions, and partner organizations to foster dialogue and collaboration on global development, innovation, and sustainability.

Through the Indonesian Embassy booth, participants had the opportunity to learn more about Indonesia’s educational and cultural programs, scholarship opportunities, and academic collaborations between Indonesia and the Philippines.

KBRI Manila remains committed to strengthening educational partnerships and promoting people-to-people connections between Indonesia and the Philippines.
