Under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐎 𝐒 𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐀𝐌, Acting City Fire Marshal, personnel of the Makati City Fire Station conducted a Fire Safety Seminar and Drill for the employees, tenants, security personnel, and building occupants of Medical Plaza, Arsenal Security Group, Inc., Makati Stock Exchange Building – Ayala Land, Inc., Wong Chu King Holdings, Inc., and Wilcon Depot Inc., Makati City.

The activity aimed to enhance fire safety awareness, preparedness, and proper emergency response through informative discussions and practical drill exercises. Participants were equipped with essential knowledge and practical skills on fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and emergency response measures. This initiative strengthens the readiness of employees, security personnel, management, and building occupants in responding effectively to fire incidents and other emergencies, contributing to a safer and more resilient community.

Under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐎 𝐒 𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐀𝐌, Acting City Fire Marshal, the Makati City Fire Station conducted a Culmination Program for the On-the-Job Trainees (OJTs) from the Philippine College of Criminology in recognition of their successful completion of the required training program.

The culmination program served as a fitting conclusion to the trainees’ immersion at the station, recognizing their commitment, professionalism, and active participation throughout their training period. During their deployment, the OJTs were exposed to the various functions of the Bureau of Fire Protection, including fire suppression operations, fire safety enforcement, emergency response procedures, community relations activities, and basic fire science principles.

Through this hands-on experience, the trainees enhanced their understanding of public safety, emergency management, and the vital role of firefighters in protecting lives and properties. The program also provided them with valuable insights that will contribute to their future careers in the field of criminology and public service.

The Makati City Fire Station congratulates the OJTs from the Philippine College of Criminology for successfully completing their training and wishes them continued excellence in their academic pursuits and future professional endeavors.

Held on May 30, 2026, at Century City Mall, Kalayaan Avenue, Makati City, the 25th CPMI-ISSF Fire Brigade Competition showcased the skills, teamwork, preparedness, and dedication of participating fire brigades from various establishments and organizations.

Representing the Makati City Fire Station, 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐎 𝐒 𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐀𝐌, Acting City Fire Marshal, graced the event as the Guest Speaker. In his message, he emphasized the importance of fire safety awareness, continuous training, and strong collaboration between fire brigades and the Bureau of Fire Protection in ensuring the safety and resilience of communities.

The session focused on the vital roles and functions of the Administrative Section and Finance Unit, aiming to enhance the cadets’ understanding of the operational and support systems essential in fire service administration. The activity provided valuable insights into personnel management, records administration, budgeting, financial procedures, and other administrative responsibilities that contribute to the efficient delivery of public safety services.

Through this initiative, the cadets gained practical knowledge and a deeper appreciation of the behind the scenes operations that strengthen the overall mission and effectiveness of the Bureau of Fire Protection.
