Regular Punong Barangays Meeting for the month of March was successfully held, with the DILG Makati Field Office and the Makati Health Department, where key updates, reminders, and compliance matters were discussed to support the continuous improvement of barangay governance and public service for every Makatizen.

The Liga ng mga Barangay President is faithfully serving as Ex Officio Member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Makati, kasama ang mga respetadong konsehal at kagalang kagalang na Vice Mayor Romulo Kid Peña para sa maayos at tunay na serbisyong hatid sa bawat Makatizens.

Barangay San Isidro’s “Tripa de Gallina Reborn” project has officially been named one of the Top Ten Outstanding Barangay Initiatives for the 2025 Galing Pook Awards!
Led by Punong Barangay Rolando “Duka” Alvarez, Jr., who also serves as President of the Liga ng mga Barangay – Makati City Chapter, this initiative transformed a once-neglected waterway into a symbol of renewed hope, resilience, and community life. This recognition celebrates the hard work of every resident, volunteer, and partner who believed in the vision of a cleaner, greener, and safer Barangay San Isidro.

The Liga ng mga Barangay – Makati City Chapter, under the leadership of Councilor Rolando Duka Alvarez Jr., in partnership with the Makati Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office headed by PBGen. Rodelio B. Jocson (ret.), MPSA, Officer-in-Charge, successfully held the DRRM Capacity Building for Makati Barangays 2025: Barangay Climate and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan Formulation on September 22–24, 2025, at Twin Lakes Hotel, Tagaytay–Nasugbu Road, Laurel, Batangas.
The three-day seminar equipped barangay officials with practical knowledge and technical guidance through step-by-step workshops and on-the-spot consultations, ensuring the effective formulation of their respective Barangay DRRM Plans. This initiative underscores the strong leadership of Hon. Maria Lourdes Nancy S. Binay and the City Government’s commitment to resilience and proactive disaster preparedness.
We extend our appreciation to all Punong Barangays, Barangay Kagawads and barangay representatives who actively participated and contributed to the success of this activity.
