𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘 | November 04, 2024 In a powerful display of unity and respect, the two-jail unit successfully held its Joint Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony. Under the leadership of 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐆𝐈𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐄 𝐀 𝐇𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐑 Acting City Jail Warden alongside 𝐉𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍 𝐋 𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐍, Chief of the Welfare and Development Section of the Male Dormitory, personnel from both units gathered to honor the national flag, which was displayed at half-mast in a poignant acknowledgment of the tragedies that have struck the nation.

The ceremony served as a reminder of the importance of camaraderie and commitment to service during challenging times. The half-mast flag is a significant gesture of mourning, reflecting the collective grief felt across the country following the devastating impact of Typhoons Kristine and Leon.

As the nation observes today as a Day of National Mourning, the solidarity demonstrated by the joint flag-raising ceremony is a testament to the strength of the Filipino spirit in the face of adversity.
