Today volunteers at the Hernandez Library prepped donated fabric into schoolbag kits for students in Sulu.

22 kits made. 1300 target. A long way to go but a good start already. :)

The year is coming to an end, and we’re still trying to take it all in Everything we’ve been able to do feels unreal in the best way! None of this would have been possible without you, our friends, our partners, the people who chose to show us their love.

Thanks for sharing your hearts with the children of Patikul, Sulu. What you gave was never just money or materials. It was time, it was faith, and the decision to invest in a future you may never fully see but you did it anyway. You remind these children that they matter, that someone believes in what they can become.

This isn’t where it ends. There is more to come next year. We have more work, more learning and more reasons to keep going. We’re very thankful for the partnerships that made this year possible and will carry us forward: Our family and friends, Rotaract, Science Konek, the Library Renewal Partnership, UPCAO, the UP Department of Military Science and Tactics, the 15th CMO Battalion, the 11th Infantry Division, the Philippine Army, Navy, and Air Force, and the Office of the Secretary for National Defense.

This year changed us. And because of all of you, in our own little way, it changed them too. Cheers to all of us!

We are proud to announce we've settled the library into a lovely new address at Amorsolo Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City.

The books we choose to keep (and not send on to other schools and libraries), the core of our collection, are mostly international relations, political science , and military history books from the late Romeo T. Hernandez and Roberto C. Hernandez who passed away in 2014 and 2018 respectively.

If you are working on a thesis or dissertation and need to research in our collection, these books are for room use only to ensure they are not lost or damaged. :) Just message us a request with your name, school, and preferred schedule and we'll be glad to see how we can assist you with your research. :)

We also accept donations of books and school supplies and hope to assist 8-9 schools and libraries in Sulu in 2026.

For any query, just message the page. We hope to hear from you soon! :)

Donate your old denin/maong jeans so we can sew them into schoolbags for elementary students in Sulu!
PM us today to coordinate delivery to Makati. We hope to have 200 bags ready for the first school by January 20 but we need your help to collect maong material.

As the teachers in Sulu say - education prevents radicalization and violence later on. Let's give these kids a chance at a peaceful future full of hope. School supplies and childrens book donations are still accepted too!

PM us today!

Salamat & Magsukul! ^_^
