Today, during the first General Assembly of KidZone Volunteers, we held a special mini training on Deaf Awareness Orientation by Ma'am Annabelle Salazar 🤟
Our volunteers were introduced to the basics of sign language, from the alphabet to commonly used signs and learned about acceptable and unacceptable ways of communicating with Deaf individuals. More than just learning hand movements, the session helped us grow in understanding, sensitivity, and respect for the Deaf community.
This is a small but meaningful step as we desire to create a church where every child and every family feels seen, heard, and valued. We pray that this training will help pave the way for a more inclusive, compassionate, and welcoming church, where the love of Christ is expressed not only in words, but also in how we intentionally reach out to others.
Thank you to our Primary Team especially Teacher Danica for leading and facilitating this special session. We are truly grateful for your heart to teach, serve, and help shape a ministry that reflects Christ’s love for all 💛

KidZone Moving Up Ceremony 🎓✨
Congratulations to our Kids, Parents, Guardians, and Teachers! 👏👏👏
Today we celebrate a meaningful milestone—growth, perseverance, and God’s faithfulness every step of the way. To God be all the glory!
As our children move forward to the next season, may they continue to grow in wisdom, character, and faith—learning to trust the Lord as they press on toward what He has prepared for them.
Philippians 3:13–14
“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus

A friend once told me a freeing truth. He said, "Legacy is a myth." At first it grated on me. "What!? Of course legacy is real... and it's super important!" I thought. I was deflated and indignant.
Then I considered the legacy of my own great grandparents. Sadly (and to my shame), I don't even know their names. I don't know where they lived or where they came from. I don't know what they did for work or have any real idea even of what they looked like. And I certainly don't have any material possessions or wealth passed down from them.
That's when it hit me: legacy *is* a myth... at least in the worldly sense. Even though I don't know their names or have any material possessions from them, I undoubtedly have a legacy left from my great grandparents that is much more valuable: my faith in Christ.
The one thing I needed from my great grandparents is the one thing I received: Jesus. It's also the one thing that can never fade away or lose value. Coincidentally, it's the one thing I hope to pass along—as my legacy—to my daughters, to their kids, and to their kids.
Our kids don't need us to pile up money or assets for them to inherit. They need us to introduce them to the one who can save and love their souls.
That day when my friend reminded me that legacy is a myth, he was talking about exactly that. It's a myth to think that many generations from now, our families will be speaking, remembering, and revering our names often, if at all. Let us focus on getting them to speak, remember, and revere the name of Jesus more than anything.
If I grow old and have nothing, it won't matter... if only I can live to see our kids know and love Jesus, I will die a happy man!
Stay fierce,
Ryan

GOD FORGIVES! He grants pardon and cancels the debt of sin through JESUS CHRIST!
Micah 7:18
Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.
❤️🩹 Jesus forgave the sins of the paralyzed man before He healed him. He demonstrated that HE is GOD and HE has the authority to pardon sins. Only God can forgive sins, and Jesus, being God, has this exclusive authority.
❤️🔥 Jesus cancelled the debt of sin by sacrificing Himself and defeating death on the cross.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." as written in John 3:16.
True forgiveness of sin is only possible through Jesus Christ!
❣️ It was wonderful to learn about how GOD FORGIVES with all of you this Wednesday. Next week, let's discover more about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

GOD is FAITHFUL! HE always keeps HIS promises!
Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the FAITHFUL God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
❤️🔥 GOD is FAITHFUL to His promises, to forgive and accept us even though we are sinful and unfaithful. By Hosea and Gomer's marriage, God showed His people that He is ALWAYS FAITHFUL to His promises even if we are not always faithful to Him.
