On 2 June 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila organized a ceremony to celebrate the centennial legacy of Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, Queen Consort of His Majesty King Prajadhipok (King Rama VII), commemorating Her Majesty’s contribution to education, social sustainable development and gender equality, as recognized and honored by UNESCO. H.E. Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines along with Embassy and Team Thailand officials commemorated the said recognition of Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni at the Ambassador’s Residence.

เมื่อวันที่ 2 มิถุนายน 2569 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา ได้จัดพิธีเฉลิมพระเกียรติเนื่องในโอกาสพระราชพิธีมหามงคลเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 4 รอบ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้า ฯ พระบรมราชินี 3 มิถุนายน 2569 โดยนางมาฆวดี สุมิตรเหมาะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา ถวายเครื่องราชสักการะและวางพานพุ่ม กล่าวถวายพระพรชัยมงคล จุดเทียนถวายพระพรชัยมงคล และลงนามถวายพระพรชัยมงคล ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตฯ โดยมีข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ หัวหน้าสำนักงานและข้าราชการหน่วยงานทีมประเทศไทย ณ กรุงมะนิลา พร้อมคู่สมรสเข้าร่วมพิธีดังกล่าว

On 2 June 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila organized a ceremony to celebrate the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 4th Cycle Birthday on 3 June 2026. H.E. Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines along with Embassy and Team Thailand officials commemorated the Auspicious Occasion by paying homage to Her Majesty the Queen which included a candle-lighting ceremony, and signed the book of well wishes at the Ambassador’s Residence.

เมื่อวันที่ 20 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางมาฆวดี สุมิตรเหมาะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงรับรองอาหารค่ำ ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต เพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่ Mrs. Maria Helen B. De La Vega อธิบดีฝ่ายอำนวยการ คณะกรรมการอาเซียนแห่งชาติฟิลิปปินส์ (ASEAN NOC) และคณะ เพื่อขอบคุณคณะกรรมการอาเซียนแห่งชาติฟิลิปปินส์ที่ได้อำนวยความสะดวกและให้การสนับสนุนคณะผู้แทนฝ่ายไทยเข้าร่วมการประชุมสุดยอดอาเซียน ครั้งที่ 48 และการประชุมที่เกี่ยวข้อง ระหว่างวันที่ 7 - 9 พฤษภาคม 2569 ณ จังหวัดเซบู เป็นอย่างดี รวมทั้งได้หารือแนวทางในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ กับคณะกรรมการอาเซียนแห่งชาติฟิลิปปินส์เพื่อเตรียมการสำหรับการประชุมต่าง ๆ ในกรอบอาเซียนในวาระที่ฟิลิปปินส์ดำรงตำแหน่งประธานอาเซียนในปี 2569

On 20 May 2026, H.E. Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines hosted a dinner in honor of The Honorable Mrs. Maria Hellen B. De La Vega, Director-General for Operations of the ASEAN 2026 National Organizing Council (NOC), ASEAN NOC Team and Liaison Officers assigned to the Thai Delegation during the 48th ASEAN Summit in Cebu during 7 - 9 May 2026. The Ambassador thanked the support rendered by ASEAN NOC to the Thai delegation attending the 48th ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings. During the dinner, the Ambassador also discussed ways the Royal Thai Embassy, Manila could work more closely with ASEAN NOC in preparation for the upcoming meetings on the ASEAN 2026 calendar.

เมื่อวันที่ 17 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางมาฆวดี สุมิตรเหมาะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา ได้ให้การต้อนรับและเป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงรับรองอาหารค่ำ ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต ในโอกาสที่ พลเอก สุรชาติ จิตต์แจ้ง นายกสมาคมกีฬาคาราเต้แห่งประเทศไทย นำนักกีฬาเยาวชนทีมชาติไทยเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันรายการ 2026 Karate One - Youth League Manila ณ กรุงมะนิลา ระหว่างวัน ที่ 14-17 พฤษภาคม 2569

ในโอกาสนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอแสดงความยินดีกับทีมนักกีฬาไทยที่ชนะการแข่งขันได้รับรางวัล 2 เหรียญเงิน ได้แก่ นายธนกร เต่าเล็ก รุ่น Junior-61 kg. และนายปัฐพี พรมสอน รุ่น Cadet+70 kg. และ 1 เหรียญทองแดง ได้แก่ นายธาวิน แสงทอง รุ่น Cadet-52 kg. และขอเป็นกำลังใจให้กับนักกีฬาคาราเต้เยาวชนทีมชาติไทย ในการเป็นตัวแทนประเทศไทยเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันต่อไป

On 17 May 2026, H.E. Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines hosted a dinner in honor of General Surachart Chittchang (Ret.), President of the Thailand Karate Federation (TKF) and Thai Karate Youth National Team athletes who competed in the 2026 Karate One - Youth League Manila during 14-17 May 2026 in Manila, the Philippines.

The Royal Thai Embassy, Manila would like to congratulate 3 Thai Karate Youth National Team athletes in winning 2 silver and 1 bronze i.e. Mr. Thanakorn Taolek in the Junior Kumite Male -61 kg category, Mr. Patthapee Promsorn in the Cadet Kumite Male 70+ kg category and Mr. Thawin Sangtong in the Cadet Kumite Male -52 kg category, respectively.

The Royal Thai Embassy, Manila would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all athletes and send support to Thai Karate Youth National Team athletes for success in future matches.

On the occasion of Coronation Day of His Majesty His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on 4 May 2026, H.E. 🇹🇭🇵🇭 On 28 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Ms. Maria Theresa P. Lazaro, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, on the sidelines of the 25th ASEAN - EU Ministerial Meeting in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.

เมื่อวันที่ 23 เมษายน 2569 นางมาฆวดี สุมิตรเหมาะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา ได้ให้การต้อนรับและเป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงรับรองอาหารค่ำ ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต ในโอกาสที่ พลเรือเอก ไพโรจน์ เฟื่องจันทร์ ผู้บัญชาการทหารเรือ พร้อมด้วยภริยา และคณะ เดินทางเยือนฟิลิปปินส์อย่างเป็นทางการ ในฐานะแขกของกองทัพเรือฟิลิปปินส์ ระหว่างวันที่ 23-25 เมษายน 2569 โดยมีข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ หน่วยงานทีมประเทศเข้าร่วมด้วย

ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับพัฒนาการสำคัญทางการเมืองและเศรษฐกิจของฟิลิปปินส์ และความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยกับฟิลิปปินส์ในมิติด้านความมั่นคงและด้านเศรษฐกิจ

On 23 April 2026, H.E. Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines hosted a dinner in honor of ADM Pairote Fuangchan, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy (RTN), spouse, and his delegation at the Ambassador’s Residence during their official visit to the Republic of the Philippines as guests of the Philippine Navy during 23-25 April 2026. In attendance were Embassy officials and members of Team Thailand in Manila.

During the dinner, the Ambassador exchanged information on the overview of Thailand-Philippine cooperation and potential areas for future cooperation especially in areas of defense and security cooperation.
